RHEA is currently recruiting a Satcom Product Engineer to lead design review, provide recommendation on satcom technology trends, and evaluate proposals from satellite companies for hosted payloads ready to gain flight heritage. This job will be based at our clients premises in Harwell, UK. Tasks and Activities The scope of work shall include Lead design reviews on contracts between the agency and industry Evaluation, negotiation, monitoring and control of contracts and activities Support other members of TIATTH section on their projects and share expertise within the section Monitor market and technology trends and developments in the area of satellite communication Identify any issues during the procurement phase, running or closing of an activity, and flag them in a timely manner Support preparation of Papers for Adjudication Committees or Delegate bodies IPC, JCB, with high quality standards Provide input for the Department Business Intelligence tools Skills and experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering Minimum 10 years of industry experience in telecommunication payload and platform engineering including design, system level analysis, manufacturing, and testing Experience in Management of development contracts for satellite equipment Experience in telecommunication satellite equipment design, qualification, AIT and inorbit testing Experience in payload technology and products for telecommunication satellites Looking to take your career to the next level?
