EGNOS Ground and Operations Security Engineer

Position Reference 107 RHEA Group is currently recruiting an EGNOS Ground and Operations Security Engineer to support the Head of the GNSS Ground Segment Security, Site accreditation and Security Operations Unit at our clients premises in Toulouse, France. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Guidance and monitoring of the implementation of System Security Requirements by the EGNOS prime contractors, Follow up of the implementation of these requirements within the Segment design down to element level, Selection of evaluated secure element when COTS are selected or the follow up of the secure element evaluation during its development e.g. Common Criteria, Interaction with the Segment Prime contractors and its subcontractors for what concern security implementation, Site security measures, their definition and their implementation within the EGNOS Sites, Secure operations, the definition of the EGNOS SECOPS and the follow up of their implementation within EGNOS, Definition of the security operational measures in support to the security risk treatment required to cover identified security risk. Support to the Mission Security Engineering Board, Support to the EGNOS Security Accreditation Panel. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University degree or equivalent qualification together with experience in security risk analysis You have a consolidated experience in security architecture You have experience in penetration testing activities You have experience in System and Security Engineering You have experience in Satellite Navigation You are fluent in English, both in speech and writing, with excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills You have or are eligible for personal security clearance from your national security authority The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience dealing with security components and environments You are willing to travel within Europe You are able to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level? MultiMission Dissemination Operations Engineers 1913006 Job Description We are looking for 2 fulltime and 1 parttime Dissemination Engineer for our client, EUMETSAT. You will be working in the Realtime services and System Operations RSO Division of the Operations and User Services Department OPS. You will work on dissemination operations for missions such as Meteosat, Metop, Jason2 and 3rdparty data services operations, as well as for the commissioning phase for MetopC leading to the routine operations phase for the triple Metop satellite system MTG and EPSSG missions build up for operations and then leading to commissioning and then routine operations Copernicus missions for routine Sentinel3A, Jason3 and 3rd party data services operations, as well as for the commissioning phase for Sentinel3B leading to the routine operations phase for the dual satellite system. Copernicus Sentinel6JasonCS mission build up for operations and then leading to commissioning and then routine operations of S6. Overview Good testing is essential for smooth operations hence it is an integral and important part of the Space Operations Center SOC development. The SOC System Engineer shall support the System Testing Activities and the tasks include Construct test, verification and validation plans and procedures for SOC systemssubsystems, for the SOC overall and for all interfaces to SOC. Organisation of Test Readiness Reviews TRRs Test Review Boards TRBs. Contribute to procedure writing and the implementation of those procedures. Test procedures and operate SOC testintegration systems. Test SOC systems for the daily processing. Test SOC systems for the generation of products to send to MOC. Test SOC interfaces. Coordinate Subsystem Test execution in collaboration with all parties involved. Generate test reports and requirements coverage by testing. Maintain the overall test procedures and test logbook. Gather operational constraints for software running at SOC. Assist in automation of SOC procedures nominally SOC will only be manned normal working hours. Provide general support for testing, particularly for EndtoEnd E2E and operational rehearsal campaigns. Report on activities including the gathering and presentation of test coverage summary statistics. Attending meetingsconferenceworkshops and make presentations as requested. Interact appropriately with and support the providers of all software SOC systems. Interact appropriately with the users of data products. Cooperate with other projects on testing matters e.g. promote the exchange of information with other SGS. Specific qualification requirements A University degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or in equivalent relevant fields. At least 4 years of relevant working experience. Strong experience with Test Management and System Level Testing. Strong experience with Operations and Operations Preparation within the Scientific Ground Segment. Strong experience with working with AGILE and DevOps methodologies. Working experience with Java, C, Shell, Ruby Perl, Python. Strong experience with working with ESA Standards. A high level of written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in Spanish also desirable. Excellent organisation skills for projects execution and associated documentation. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in Spain without the need to obtain a work visa. Only European Union EU, European Economic Area EEA and SWISScitizens can be employed by Aurora in Spain. Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA.
