Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Act as Expert operations engineer providing support to the platform andor Instruments Validation, test and operation of the MCS, including the OBSM and Mission Planning System Validation, test and operation of the Simulator Generation, validation and maintenance of the FOP Support to test and operate the NDIU Support for FOS procurement, integration and tests Review of satellite documents LEOP support general operational support Commissioning support general operational support Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Demonstrated experience with low Earth orbit satellites operations, including experience in preparatory phase OPSPREP, special operations LEOP, Deorbiting campaign and operational phase routine either in Platform and Instruments. Familiarity with satellite control systems, ideally SCOS2000, including data dissemination subsystems like EDDS and MUST Experience in working in an operational environment Experience with flight procedures life cycle, including validation Experience with anomaly investigations Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Ability to work independently and with little supervision Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Capable of coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields. Fluency in English, both in speech and writing Familiarity with operational simulators, ideally SimSat Experience with TMTC databases, preferably SCOS2000 compatible Experience in ground tests preparation and execution, e.g. SVTs Experience with ground segment integration and validation Experience in validation and verification of Network Distribution and Interface Units or similar EGSE equipment The following skills would be highly desirable Familiarity with MUST Familiarity with ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS Given the direct operational requirement of this service request, familiarity or previous experience in the operations of ESA Earth observation missions be highly valued How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level? UAW Threatens Strike at Fiat Chrysler Operations

A strike at its U.S. operations could cost the automaker $40 million a week in operating profit, said Sean McAlinden, chief economist with the Center for Automotive Research. Workers at several plants in Kokomo, Indiana, and at least one in Michigan received notices to be ready to strike but it was not clear whether all Fiat Chrysler plants would be involved.
