Human Behaviour Performance Specialist MF Telespazio VEGA Deutschland has been supporting the European Space Industry for over 30 years, including ESA, DLR, EUMETSAT and CNES. This is an opportunity for an experienced Human Behaviour Performance Specialist, with proven expertise in the design and development of training to support the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, as part of a team of training experts in the domain of human spaceflight. The position is unlimited and will start around 30th of July 2015. Submission deadline for applications is 19th of July 2015. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES We are recruiting to organize and support Human Behaviour Performance training for the European Astronaut Centre. This role includes the planning, preparation, implementation of training courses as well as ensuring the training material is up to date and properly maintained. This includes Support to design, development, logistics preparation, cofacilitation and followup administration of Human Behaviour Performance HBP, Human Factors and Instructional Techniques Course ITC courses for astronauts, ground support personnel and personnel of Analogue environments Maintenance of the HBP course catalogues in the Astronaut Training Database ATD, update of training material including lesson plans Support to the coordination and implementation of HBP seminars and events Support to the review of ISS Partners HBP training and HBPWG activities Support EAC Human Factors activities, including training, reviews, collection of lessons learned Review and summarisation of Human Factors and HBPrelated publications and transfer into the EAC Human Factors library Coauthoring of EAC publications on Human Factors and HBP training Develop proposed observationperformance rating sheets in order to integrate HBP and technical observations for training and simulations Provide requirements and review development for integration of HBP Training Materials checklist into Astronaut Training Database Catalogue manager QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE University degree in Psychology or equivalent Working experience in Human Factors CRM or related training development Proven subject matter expertise on behavioural competency models Subject matter expertise on ISS andor similar operational environments ESSENTIAL SKILLS Excellent communication skills Good team member Workload management flexible and organized and able to plan time effectively and manage changing priorities Decision making Good organisational and leadership skills Strong ability to work independently with high attention to detail Mastery of the English language, in both spoken and written form The ability to work in a multicultural environment DESIRABLE SKILLS Proven subject matter expertise on the International Space Station HBP competency model Subject matter expertise on ISS andor analogue environments BENEFITS Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, generous training possibilities and Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate. A vacancy for a Pixel Factory Support Specialist PFSS mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space at its site in Sophia Antipolis. You will join the Project Support department. As Pixel Factory Support Specialist PFSS, you will provide technical support, in a broad sense, for the Pixel Factory PF and Street Factory SF software in line with the Service Level Agreements SLAs service contracts for internal or external customers, in collaboration with the other teams in the department and the Sales Marketing team. In this context, you will record, qualify and follow up anomalies reported by customers, ensure the delivery of corrective actions, and will be responsible for a certain number of customers, with whom you will be required to ensure regular, proactive followup in the form of anomaly and requirements reviews. You will also be in charge of deployment, acceptance, training and assistance for production for customers, and for this purpose will regularly be required to undertake extended business trips 13 months to customer sites around the world. Your direct line manager will be the Projects Support Manager and you will be supervised on a daytoday basis by the Support Group Manager. This position involves support, advice and function analysis activities. In this context, your tasks will include Recording, qualifying and following up incident tickets as per the support group procedures Closing out incident tickets that are related to methodology and software configuration for the application Creating, validating and delivering corrective actions Regularly following up the customers under your responsibility Working with the Test group and the Project Manager to prepare acceptance plans for the PF and SF systems Working with the Infrastructure and Configuration Management teams to prepare the installers necessary for deployment of the PF and SF software Deploying the PF and SF systems on customer sites and performing the associated acceptance procedures Training users and subsequently providing support for production staff on site Preparing training materials in collaboration with the Support group Assisting the technical authors in creating the user documentation Participating in the validation of the SF and PF software Helping the Business Analysis group to identify requirements for the development of new functions. This role will involve extended overseas business trips 13 months, 4 times a year. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies Professional qualification as an Engineer or university equivalent Masters level 5 years of experience in cartography andor geomatics geometry of DTM sensors, DSM, orthorectification, mosaics Initial experience in customer support Good knowledge of the production of aerial andor satellite map data Good understanding of customer satisfaction and service quality The ability to understand customer requirements and problems in order to establish whether a particular problem is related to a skill, a method, development or a system Knowledge of one or more management information systems and Photoshop, as well as of Linux and scripting languages would be an advantage Meticulous and wellorganised Ability to comply with procedures and deadlines Independent way of working and high level of discretion Sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills Adaptable and flexible Advanced level of English.
