Cyber Security Manager

The GSOp Team Issue 1 October 2018 The person will operate in our office in Transinne and collaborate on a daily basis with the GSOp project team in the frame of the Galileo Service Operator contract. We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous cybersecurity specialist to join our growing team. In the role you will operate independently and as part of a team to ensure GSOp remote sites software, hardware, and related components are protected from cyber attacks. The job description will include developing security systems, analyzing current systems for vulnerabilities, and handling any and all cyber attacks in an efficient and effective manner. Candidates should have strong IT skills and a deep understanding of cyber hacker methodology. The GSOp CSM will also keep in touch with the Galileo Remote Sites to develop the cyber security knowledge and to ensure the correct addressing of the cyber security procedures and policies. The CSM will also be key person in the cyber awareness program which includes courses on all the remote sites. Duties The CyberSecurity Manager is expected to implement the following tasks Monitor all operations and infrastructure. This could be something you do by yourself, or you could be leading a teameither way, your daily bread and butter involves going through alerts and logs which are the computer security equivalent of video surveillance in order to keep an eye on your organizations digital security footprint. Maintain all security tools and technology. This could be a shared responsibility or completely required of the security manager and their team. Monitor internal and external policy compliance. You want to ensure that both your vendors and employees are working within the framework of a policy youve laid out and that the policy is clearly laid out for them. The security manager is the living embodiment of policyand while they arent always in charge of enforcement, they do often try to make sure things are in line internally. Monitor regulation compliance. This is particularly important if youre in a heavily regulated industry and are dealing with things like credit card, health care data, or other personally identifiable information. Work with different departments in the organization to reduce risk. From technical controls to policies and everything in between, youll likely be tasked with working across the aisle of departments in your organization to get everyone on the same page. Implement new technology. If your organization is looking at a new technology, as the cybersecurity manager, you will be evaluating it and helping implement any controls that might mitigate the risk of its operation. Audit policies and controls continuously. Cybersecurity is a circular processand as the manager, you have to drive that process forward. In order to do that, you will need to regularly audit the policies and controls you put into place. These audits will tell you if theres anything you need to improve, remediate, or quickly fix. Ensure cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar. Does it seem as though the organization youre with isnt being proactive about cybersecurity? As the cybersecurity manager, your job is to make the benefits clearly visible and champion all efforts going forward. Detail out the security incident response program. Every organization should have a welldefined and documented plan of action to put into place if a security incident does occur. The cybersecurity manager should ensure that this program is tested throughout the organization and that every highlevel manager knows his or her duties during such an incident. This may be a responsibility that is the cybersecurity managers alone, or it could be a shared responsibility. Education and experience Bachelor or master degree related to Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is demanded Completion of an internshipapprenticeship in cybersecurity a plus IASCACISM certification or equivalent a plus Strong IT skills including knowledge on hardware, software, networks, and data centers Thorough work ethic, attention to detail Skills of perception and QA, ability to identify vulnerabilities and overall issues Critical thinking skills, problem solving aptitude Forensic approach to challenges Ability to think like a hacker and anticipate hacker moves Desire to selfeducate on the everchanging landscape of cyber hacking tactics Experience in professional cybersecurity a plus Good knowledge of the Space Business is a really useful advantage Language skills English fluent Computer skills Basics of Computer Science Basics of Computer Programming Operating Systems Concepts and Architecture knowledge Good knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating Systems system configuration and administration Network Architecture Design capabilities Required soft skills Analytical and critical thinking, good sense of organization of work Quality oriented Perseverance and Inquisitiveness Reactiveness Strong collaboration skills, work as a team member Strong oral and written communication skills Capabilities to convince Ability to work under pressure, to handle high level of workload

Cyber Internal Auditor

The Cyber Internal Auditor will ensure the efficient, transparent and sharp execution of all the cyber security activities continuously assessing the cyber security teamwork and auditing the CSM activities on regular basis by an approved internal auditing plan. The CIA will plan, schedule and perform audits in the perimeter of the cyber policy to Evaluate the level of compliance of the implementation of cyber requirements Identify vulnerabilities Identify non compliances Evaluate the compliance level of the information security management system and implemented security measures with defined requirements, security policies in place and the appropriate safety standards Provide independent feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of information security management system and security measures The CIA will report on audit results to the program manager andor operations director and to the prime contractual entities, if requested or if foreseen in the auditing planning documents.
