We are looking for a software tester with experience in all phases of testing during the software development life cycle for the support of the development and maintenance of Air Traffic Control related software systems. These are fulltime and unlimited positions located on our customer side at DFS in Langen, Germany. For this position you can choose to work either as fulltime employee or as Freelancer. Responsibilities Duties The Test Engineer is working in a team and is responsible for the complete testing process of a specific functionality within the development cycle of a new software release from the requirements analysis to the test development and test execution. Develop test criteria and test components from the software requirements, also in cooperation with the responsible developers. Develop test cases and test procedures unique, clear and repeatable based on the identified test components. Create all data necessary test data, testing tools and define scenarios that are necessary to execute the tests. Organise and participate in test readiness reviews Execute formal tests with the customer and document the results Document problems and issues that have been discovered during testing using an issue tracking system and support retesting based on fixed problems Support the customer in technical meetings, discussions and questions on testing approaches, and propose solutions and improvements based on latest techniques and applicable technical standards Qualifications Experience A university degree in aerospace, informatics, mathematics or physics. At least 3 years of experience in testing of software systems during the whole software development life cycle is required. ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is desirable. Essential Skills HPALM Application Lifecycle Management Configuration Management e.g. git Ticketing System Jira Testrunner Good communication skills Fluency in spoken and written English and German at least level B2 Desirable Skills Experience in the Java programming language Shell scripting on Linux Python RedHat andor CentOS Base knowledge of LaTex Knowledge user level in the GUI Testing Framework Jubula Experience in Testing of Air Traffic Control Systems would be an advantage Experience in the CDF Framework would be an advantage Rational DOORS for requirements administration

We are developing the next rover missions that will prospect for lunar water and thereby set the first milestone toward lunar ISRU. ispace Europe core engineering competences are in lunar science, rover navigation, mission planning, data processing, and mission systems engineering. Role description The Data Tools Developer will be responsible for creating the suite of tools and environments used to process, analyze, and interpret data collected from our lunar missions. You will work with the mission scientist to create brand new tools for selecting landing sites and planning surface operations and with other data engineers to construct the Planetary Data Center that will process ispace mission data. Key responsibilities Work with engineering and business teams to conceive, design and implement the first set of scalable tools for planning lunar mission Work with the data center architect and the mission scientist to create the first planetary data processing pipelines using existing datasets from past missions Test, verify and validate all your products, collect and analyze user feedback, iterate Research and stay up to date with state of the art tools and data processing methods used in planetary science, terrestrial mining, remote sensing, and media industry Identify opportunities and make recommendations for applying these methods and AI, AR, VR techniques to make your tools more capable and effective Required skills and qualifications B.S.MS in computer sciences, engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience 3 to 5 years of experience in software development Excellent coding and debugging skills Knowledge or ability to quickly ramp up with machine learning, deep learning and data science Experience in documenting data definitions and writing reports in a businessfriendly language Exhibit strong intellectual curiosity about the science, engineering, and business disciplines adjacent to your domain of expertise Be highly organized and capable of planning and executing complex technical work Thrive in multidisciplinary environment in close cooperation with science, engineering and business teams Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Show initiative, leadership, and positive cando attitude Be comfortable with change and fastpaced environment Preferred Experience Experience in geospatialplanetary data processing and products is highly desirable Knowledge on OpenCV is a plus
