Technology Flight Engineer J 2998 Summary An opportunity for an experienced Space Engineer to work for Telespazio VEGA onsite at ESTEC. Objective To support the Technology Coordination Frequency Management Section for future earth observation missions. Responsibilities Duties The Technology Coordination and Frequency Management Section EOPSFT is responsible for two main tasks. First, the identification of technology requirements for future Earth Observation missions. A solid collaboration with the other divisions in the EO directorate and ESAs technical directorate is essential for this work. The nature of the work requires a wide knowledge in engineering disciplines with a natural inclination for learning and understanding new technologies. Second, the analysis and monitoring of the evolution of frequency needs for EO missions, including early concepts and potential interference conflicts with other communication services sharing the spectrum.
