Galileo Service Facilities Coordination and Engineering Expert

Position Reference 851 In order to offer an expert support both on Engineering and Coordination aspects, we are currently looking for a Galileo Services Facilities expert, to work at the European GNSS Agency in the beautiful city of Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Coordination of the Galileo Service Facilities Activities. Maintenance of the Work Plan for Service Facilities Support and Site Engineering task support and provision of progress reports. Maintain the requirements of the Galileo Service Facility and the hosting site interface requirements including update of DOORS database. Support maintenance of Site IRD and ICD documents, review of DCPsDCNs from GSOp. Participate to Engineering Board meetings and monthly Hosting Site checkpoints. Support the Service Facility Development, including design and Request for Deviation Request for Waiver RFDRFWs reviews. Review and follow up the Galileo Service Facility Site Verification Acceptance Documentation. Review and follow up the Return Link Service Provider RLSP Facility Hosting Infrastructure. Review and follow up the RLSP Service Facility Hosting Services Key Point Indicator KPI definition documentation and reports. Support the Service Facility Integration and Verification at element level. Support the RLSP interfaces testing and verification control. Follow the system evolution to ensure that all required activities are performed in a timely manner with minimum impact on the system evolution. Review and follow up the GSC Service Facility Hosting Infrastructure Configuration File. Support the GSC Service Facility interfaces testing and verification control. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in the relevant discipline. At least 3 years of relevant working experience in GalileoEGNSS environment. Knowledge of DOORs or similar database. Excellent planning and organisation skills, with attention to detail. Strong communication and reporting skills. Position Reference 852 We are currently looking for a Galileo Open Service OS Requirement definition, Analyses and Verification Engineer to work at the European GNSS Agency. The position is located directly in their premises, in the beautiful city of Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the identification of OS service provision concepts to be considered for the definition of service and system requirements for the core infrastructure, e.g. Input to the Galileo System Requirement Document GSRD, evolution of segments, service facilities and system operations. Maintenance of consistency with the System Technical Requirement Baseline STRB. Justification and flowdown to lower level requirements shall be maintained in the SvRDs justification document. Support the definition, elaboration and maintenance of the OS Requirements Document OS SvRD. Review and contributions to updates of the OSRD. This work includes also the traceability between service requirements, security and mission requirements, and the consistency and traceability between service, service facilities, and operations requirements. Maintenance of OS SvRD and traceability in DOORS. Support the maintenance of the OS Requirements Justification Document. The status of compliance to the System Definition Document SDD and the Mission Requirements Document MRD shall be maintained. Maintenance and Update of the OS SDD Justification File when necessary. Support GSA in organization of GSA Engineering Board Invitation, agenda, preparation of Minutes of Meeting. 5. Maintain and update GSA Technical Requirements Baseline. Support on Galileo service definition, systemtouser interfaces, production and maintenance of the Service Implementation plans, ensuring twoway exchange of scheduling information and consistency between the plans at system, service, and service facilities level. Support the definition, elaboration and maintenance of Open Service KPIs. Verify service requirements progressively through the service milestones, by compiling and assessing verification evidence from results of element validation activities. Maintain Requirement Verification Matrix and Verification Control Document. Ensure OS Service Requirements Verification and provide the statement of compliance. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in the relevant discipline. At least 3 years of relevant working experience, in GalileoEGNSS environment and ideally, on its requirements. Proven experience of DOORs. Excellent planning and organisation skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Specific tasks to be performed Follow up and coordinate the daytoday GSF, SOIF and SECMON AIV activities at GSMCFR and ES liaising with WP2X industry, WP1X industry and GSA GSMC. This includes attendance of TRRs, witnessing of test execution, review of test results and ensure the timely delivery of test logs to the data processing teams. Follow up the closure of GSF, SOIF and SECMON related anomalies as part of the Anomaly Review Boards and NCRs as part of Nonconformance Review Boards, either at segment level internal or resulting from systemOPS activities external, ensuring that critical issues are solved with maximum priority and any Work Arounds are duly validated. Support the GSMC Operators in their operational validation tasks, liaising with the technical experts in ESTEC and Industry and ensuring the operability of the delivered infrastructure. Participate, as requested, in Galileorelated reviews and technical evaluation boards, in particular contributing to GSF, SOIF and SECMON qualification reviews, intermediate DRB reviews, system and operations reviews To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, physics or Computer science with proven knowledge and experience in the fields of Algorithms, Navigation and related data The candidates must be eligible to obtain a Personal Security Clearances PSC issued by their national security administrations.
