BIO applauded Iowa’s Senate for approving 5-year, $105 million production tax credit for renewable chemicals and helping to drive innovation in this new sector. Speaking on behalf of BIO, vice president of its Industrial and Environmental Section Brent Erickson pledged to support Iowa legislature, other states, and federal government in helping "to level the playing field in economic development incentives for renewable chemical and biobased manufacturing technologies."
