WHAT IS THE GRADUATE PROGRAMME? Our Graduate Programme is a great opportunity to expand on the skills and knowledge gained through your degree whilst developing onthejob experience, to build a career in Engineering. The Graduate Programme is a two year programme, in which you will receive training and mentoring by some of our most experienced employees whilst completing three placements lasting 8 months. Two of your placements will be complimentary to your degree and the third placement will give you the opportunity to explore another area of the business e.g. Physics Optical Systems AIV Design, Optical Mechanical Design, Thermal Mechanical Aeronautical Mechanical Design, Mechanical Systems, AIT Electrical or Electronics OnBoardDataHandling, Imager Electronics, Power, Mechanisms Aerospace, Space ScienceSystems Engineering Systems, Mission Concepts WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? Applications from graduates in the following subjects and disciplines are encouraged Computer Science Software Engineering Equivalent qualifications from other countries will of course be considered. The Finance Graduate Programme is a two year programme, in which you will be able to expand on the skills and knowledge gained through your degree, whilst having the opportunity to be mentored onthejob by some of our most experienced employees. During the programme you will get the opportunity to gain an understanding and knowledge of All aspects of project control including cost control, forecasting and risk management. The operational context of finance and the role they play in the wider company. The way space programmes are run including funding, manufacture and operations. The key financial performance indicators of the business based on the financial statements. WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? The Project Management Graduate Programme is a two year programme, in which you will be able to expand on the skills and knowledge gained through your degree, whilst having the opportunity to be mentored onthejob by some of our most experienced employees. During the programme you will get the opportunity to gain an understanding and knowledge of Working closely with engineering teams from design concept to delivery The project execution plan, including the logistics of planning and scheduling Monitoring potential risks to the project and looking for mitigations Monitoring and reporting on budgets and cash flow Monitoring project progress and preparing progress reports to update relevant parties Commercial and Customer Management Our Project Management Graduate Programme also gives you the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification APM should you wish to pursue it, whilst developing onthejob experience to build a career in Project Management. WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? Applications from graduates in the following subjects and disciplines are encouraged A minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree expected or obtained in an engineering or business related degree is preferred but we will consider high quality applications from graduates who have studied a nonrelated degree Equivalent qualifications from other countries will of course be considered.
