Location ESRIN, Frascati, Italy Our team and mission The Project and Portfolio Management Section has the main objective of developing, evolving and digitalizing the corporate processes and related IT systems, namely Procurement, Finance, Human Resources and Facilities. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the ESA website httpwww.esa.int Fields of activities In the frame of this traineeship, the Young Graduate Trainee YGT will support the development of IT system proof of concepts. The activity will vary from system configuration, code writing and troubleshooting. Part of the proof of concept activity will also be the presentation and finetuning of the solution built together with the customer. The YGT will also be involved in fitgap analysis of potential new solutions versus existing ones. Location ESRIN, Frascati, Italy Our team and mission The Avionics team of the Vega and Space Rider Development Programme manages the development of AvionicsElectronics, Software and GNC activities of the VEGA Space Transportation System including VEGA launcher in exploitation, VEGAC launcher for Larger Payloads, SSMS for Smaller Payloads, Spacer Rider Vehicle for Payloads Return, VENUS for Higher Orbits and VEGAE for future evolutions drives the Design to Payload concept of the Spacer Rider Vehicle and its Payload Cargo Bay, targeting a commercial exploitation coordinates the VegaC Launcher Electrical Interfaces RF, harness, Database, etc in coherence with the VegaC Launch System needs namely the Launch Base and Launch Range stations. The Space Rider Avionics system Phase C Detailed Definition, particularly Payload Cargo Bay Design, namely supporting The design to Payload implementation ensuring that Payload needs are meet by the Space Rider System Service. In this frame, the YGT may be involved into Payload needs survey activities. The consolidation of Payload Cargo Bay technical budgets, Payload Services and technical interfaces, as well as the preparation of the Space Rider User Guide. Our mission is the coordination and supervision of the implementation of all security measures applicable to personnel, documents, physical infrastructure, information systems and networks in the European Space Agency, for both corporategeneralpurpose and projectspecific infrastructures the conduct of associated threatrisk assessments the security accreditation of the ESA security systems and personnel the audit of the correct application of the Security Regulations and relevant policies within ESA the monitoring of local security incident responses, liaising with National authorities, and initiating actions at ESA level, whenever necessary.
