The Position The position is for a Business Development Director, responsible for pursuing strategic opportunities, cultivating partnerships and commercial relationships, with the aim of identifying new markets for our products and services. You will work in close coordination with our delivery teams, to formulate the direction that each domain should take. You will act as the bridge between the current capabilities and future markets, investigating and communicating the markets needs to the technical teams and taking the developed solutions to market with them. You understand that delivery and sales must work closely together, because selling is a team effort and what has been sold also has to be delivered! You understand how delivery thinks and how sales thinks and can bridge the two views of the world. You help the delivery teams go to market. Part of this is to work with marketing to formulate and structure the sales material of the organization. You will direct and mentor a small team of dedicated sales staff focused on specific parts of the market. You are hands on and pragmatic, not afraid to also do the work yourself.
