Your Role In this position you will help us develop our space market in particular in Europe. You will be responsible for expanding our business in particular to the established European space market, based on our existing products and services. By the term established European space market is in this context understood institutions, agencies and commercial organizations with well established business models such as EUTELSAT, SES, InmarSat, OHB, Airbus and Thales. You will work in close coordination with senior management in our delivery teams, to formulate the direction that each domain should take, based on your market insights. Together you will analyse our strengths and weaknesses, formulate strategies, engage potential clients, feedback market insights to the organization, develop capabilities and solutions, create marketing and sales material, and expand our business. In this role ability to work closely together with the technical presales teams is key. Communication, teamwork and collaboration is in focus! Support the BDD in developing and building a longterm and sustainable bid pipeline to ensure growth targets are achieved. Understand Sercos capabilities and assesses them against customer requirements needs, identifying gaps and implementing individual capture strategies to close the deal efficiently as well as reviewing and providing routine feedback on the status of pipeline top capture pursuits to executive leadership. Create a commercial awareness by training, coaching, within the Contract Manager population to maximise extension possibilities on existing contracts. Responsible for the recurrent salesfunnel reporting Representation of Serco in all relevant professional associations. Organisation of sales events and fairs. Successful Candidate The successful candidates will be proactive, positive, innovative, customer focused, responsive, and able to develop and sell tailored solutions and consistently deliver results. This role holder will be responsible for endto end business development of our most complex pursuits throughout the entire bid lifecycle typically from Gate 0 through to Gate 5 although there may be instances when involvement preGate 0 and postGate 5 is required win theme development refinement, pursuit strategy, pricing, teaming, competitive analysis and black hats, solution development, colour team reviews. Additionally, the successful candidate should bring the following skills and experience Proven success in capturing highly complex, large opportunities. Minimum of 10 years of business development experience working with public sector clients Good knowledge of Czech public sector market, in particular within the GSA Interact with confidence and has experience of operating at executive level. Has a strong track record of sales to achieve successful outcomes. Experience of working with business development, bidding and large teams with demonstrated successful leadership of sales and business development.
