Navigation System Engineer mf

A vacancy for a Navigation System Engineer mf has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn. The successful applicant will join Navigation Products. What can you expect? You will join the PRS Receivers Team and contribute to the ongoing development of the PRSOS SW Receiver and the EndToEnd Navigation Simulator. In that role you will be involved in various GNSS activities where you will define, implement, and test navigation algorithms and features. With more than 60 engineers and almost 20 years of experience, the Airbus Navigation Department is one of the leading expert groups in Europe for the development and implementation of the European satellite navigation systems EGNOS and Galileo. In your daily activities you will Support the development of Galileo PRS and OS software receivers, algorithms, and features Support the evolution of the Galileo system with respect to PRSOS navigation signals and performance Operate and support the development of the EndToEnd Navigation Simulator for navigation signals performance analysis Support the definition and development of new tools for navigation signals performance analysis Define, plan, and conduct testing activities in laboratory as well as measurements campaigns Interpret measured data and evaluate test results Support requirements derivation for the Galileo PRS and OS software receivers Create and maintain system engineering documents and technical reports Present the achieved results in front of national and international customers, industrial partners, technical meetings, symposia and conferences Contribute to new ideas and applications related to satellite navigation on PRS related aspects What are we looking for?We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experiences You have a Masters degree in an Engineering discipline such as Navigation, Telecommunication, Signal Processing, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Physics or equivalent You have shown good theoretical knowledge of satellitebased navigation systems, navigation signals, receiver architecture and performance You do understand GNSS receiver technology and signal processing techniques inside GNSS receivers, such as acquisition, tracking, data demodulation, channel decoding, PVT computation, interference detection and mitigation You are experienced with INS integration, sensors fusion, and integrityRAIM are considered an asset You have proven experience in SW development and good knowledge of C You are able to analyze complex technical problems and define innovative solutions You are fluent in English the knowledge of German language is considered an asset You have proven good communication skills and team working attitude as well as the capability to work in an international environment Please apply for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached. Un poste dingnieur Recherche Dveloppement en Navigation hf vient de souvrir au sein dAirbus Defence Space Toulouse. Vous rejoindrez le dpartement Navigation and ATM , en charge de la dfinition, du dveloppement et de la validation des Systmes Sols majeurs tels GALILEO et EGNOS pour les domaines de la Navigation par Satellites et de lAir Traffic ManagementATM. Ce dpartement travaille galement en Recherche et Dveloppement sur un ensemble dautres projets lis la Navigation et au GNSS Global Navigation Satellite System. Ces projets peuvent tre de petite envergure portant par exemple sur des applications innovantes ou concerner des propositions plus importantes sur des systmes majeurs comme la future gnration de GALILEO. Au sein de ce dpartement, lquipe Performance and Algorithms apporte son expertise sur lensemble des sujets relatifs la dfinition des algorithmes et sur les analyses de performance. Dans ce contexte, vous conduirez les diffrentes activits o lquipe est implique. Dune part, vous mnerez des investigations sur les nouvelles activits de Navigation du dpartement, et rpondrez aux diffrentes propositions de lESA Agence Spatiale Europenne ou autre partenaire institutionnel. Dautre part, vous grerez les projets, existants et futurs, du dpartement, ainsi que les produits cls associs, lis aux algorithmes de Navigation et leur performance. Vous serez supports par une quipe dexperts sur les sujets concerns. Ce poste ncessite une habilitation de scurit ou ncessite dtre ligible une habilitation par les autorits reconnues. Votre solide connaissance des activits en Navigation ainsi que votre exprience en dfinition et dveloppement dalgorithmes vous permettront de Dfinir des algorithmes innovants et une architecture pour de futurs systmes de Navigation. Conduire des tudes techniques et des projets lis aux activits de Navigation Airbus. Dvelopper et amliorer les produits et algorithmes existants. Dfinir et dvelopper une plateforme de simulation pour valuer la performance dalgorithmes. Tourn vers linnovation, vous serez galement en charge de Conduire des propositions pour rpondre aux diffrentes demandes de nos partenaires institutionnels CNES, ESA, ou GSA par exemple sur des systmes de Navigation et plus particulirement sur des activits lies aux algorithmes et leur performance. Proposer des concepts et des projets innovants en ligne avec lexprience et les qualifications de lquipe. Participer la dfinition dune feuille de route pour les activits de la division Navigation.Vous avez la formation, les expriences et comptences suivantes Titulaire dun diplme dingnieur ou quivalent dans le domaine Arospatial ou Electrique ou dans le domaine de la Navigation. Une premire exprience en ingnierie et dfinition dalgorithme. Une connaissance thorique et pratique sur les systmes de Navigation GNSS, SBAS SatelliteBased Augmentation System or GBAS GroundBased Augmentation System. Une comprhension des contraintes de lutilisateur final du GNSS ainsi que des applications GNSS. Une exprience au sein dune quipe dingnieurs Systme Software. Une exprience en architecture Segment Sol. La connaissance de Matlab, et des langages de dveloppement C, C, java. La capacit de faire des propositions techniques crites et des documentations. Le sens de la qualit technique et de lengagement. Averti de ltat de lart en ingnierie etou des derniers rsultats dtudes acadmiques. Responsable, autonome et proactif.
