For Airbus Defence and Space Infoterra in Potsdam within the area Application Solutions Engineering we are looking for a Application and System Developer fm. Your responsibilities will include 1. Support software development activitities within the DEMES DEM Editing SW project WorldDEM Test new SW releases according to test plan Adapt extend test plans Create review SW and test related documentation Contribute to requirements definition 2. Support RD activities WorldDEM with an emphasis on rasterbased DEM process automation Definition tests of single process steps which lead to an automated DTM Digital Terrain Model generation Create test and processrelated documentation 3. Support WorldDEM production team Introduce new DEMES SW versions prepare and conduct Potsdam internal training Training of external production partners prepare and conduct external training Create and adapt workflowrelated documentation Create adapt Wiki system for WorldDEM production 4. Support activities related to disaster management DEMrelated activities within RD project IncREO conduct tests on DEM data, reporting Support of flood map production test of process updates and migration to production, related documentation We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in GeoInformation, Geography or a similar degree Remote sensing data basics, especially satellite imagery and Digital Elevation Models DEMs First experience in process chain development improvement Knowledge experience in processing editing of DEMs and SAR data desirable basics Good English language skills comprehension and working on technical documentation If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.airbusgroup.com.
