Quality Assurance Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Your main responsibilities as Quality Assurance Engineer are the system integration and validation SIVV, operations preparation and Launch and Early Orbit Phase LEOP. You will have the following responsibilities Implement the QA plan Define and maintain QA procedures Ensure the correct implementation of the relevant processes Ensure that the System Requirement Document is properly defined and controlled Organise and support the ARBs and NRBs Analyse and report on QA critical issues, proposing and following up preventive and recovery actions Advise on QA and Risk Management activities Definition and monitoring of QA related metrics Support QA audits. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in technical engineering or another relevant discipline Space System Integration and Validation SIVV, Operations Preparation and LEOP Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ECSSQ standards QA process definition, implementation, monitoring and control Risks management and lesson learned processes Project planning, including the ability to identify and report on critical paths Knowledge of requirements management tools, e.g. DOORS Fluency in English is mandatory another European language is an advantage. You will have the opportunity to provide support the EarthCARE phase DE1 Data Quality Manager, and the EarthCARE PDGS Project Manager, covering all aspects related to Operational L2 processors and algorithms, CalVal and L2 products monitoring. It shall cover phase D and E1 of the mission.
