Senior Quality Engineer

Please note that the job will be based in the Paris area FR. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Preparing, implementing and followingup of internal audits. Supporting inhouse training activities on quality management. Maintaining the Quality Management System QMS documentation. Reviewing documents produced by the client from a quality management perspective e.g. document version control, templates, approval flow, and when appropriate also from a content perspective. Supporting the preparation of document deliveries related to milestones. Supporting the review of the processesdeliverables related to project management, foster alignment between project management and quality processes, and providing quality management review feedback on project management implementation projects and tools. Contributing to activity reports, such as those that may be required by Project Management Plans PMP Supporting the development of procedures, templates and work instructions. Maintaining the processes related to Anomaly Reporting. Supporting the activities of Anomaly Review Boards ARB and Change Control Boards CCB Recording and synthesising customer feedback and data on corrective and preventive actions. Collating and analyse qualityrelated indicator reports. Collecting other relevant data to allow for evaluation of the effectiveness of the QMS. Assisting in the establishment of an Integrated Management System including Information Security and Safety Management. Gap analysis and action plan proposals. Implementation other actions required to maintain quality certification to the IS0 9001 standard. Supporting a comprehensive approach in the area of information and document management by using the existing DMS Document Management System software tools available. Supporting users in the implementation of the Document Management policies and processes. Monitor and improve the process based upon lessons learned. Contributing to the management and version control of operational procedures. Assisting tests and operational validation activities with a focus on Product Assurance. Maintaining the QMrelated interface between French subcontractors and the GSMC. Maintaining the userside setup of the Anomaly Report Tracking System ARTS as the single common system for generating, reporting and distributing Observation Reports and Software Problem Reports. Facilitating the implementation of risk management within the project team. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory General experience in quality management of a minimum of 5 years. Proven experience in ISO 9001 related quality management in the last 4 years. Proven quality audit experience internal audits, customer audits gained in the last 4 years of a minimum of 2 projects. Proven experience in the implementation of Integrated Management Systems including the application of ISO 27001 standards. Proven experience in the application of quality management standards in the aerospace sector. Proven capacity to work and communicate efficiently in English written and oral at least C1 according to Europass CV Classifications. The following skills would be highly desirable Proven capacity to work and communicate efficiently in French written and oral at least B2 according to Europass CV Classifications. Holder of Personal Security Clearance PSC at EU RESTRICTED level. At least 2 years of proven technical experience in the field of space projects. Proven technical understanding of GNSS systems. One of our Space clients is looking for a quality engineer to work with their clients and their customer this is for a role based in Holland and will involve working in the testing area, assembly integration and test work on solar arrays from a quality perspective. The responsibilities for this role should include The review and Approval of the test run procedures in house using sign off sheets. Control of the clients test facility readiness and being responsible for the calibration of test equipment. Control of placing sensors used for acceleration and also running vibration testing. Perform readiness test reviews and posttest reviews. Observing Assembly Integration and Test activities. Maintain control of all function tests before, during and after all environmental tests including Vibration, Thermal Cycle, Acoustic noise and Electromagnetic compatibility testing. Review and checking of the test results and obtaining signatures on the test report sign off. Creation of Nonconformance reports using the clients own process system. Monitor performance of KIPs and MIPs and generate MIP reports. Support configuration management activities such as built in Status and accountability items. Control of satellite transport preparation for transport to the launch site. Regular reporting to the client and in particular to their Quality Assurance Lead and the Product Assurance Manager. Ideally at least five years of professional experience preferably in space industry in Quality Assurance.
