The successful candidate will ensure security support for the definition, development, deployment and validation of services provided by the various space components. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The jobholder will have the following tasks and responsibilities Contribute to the establishmentupdate of the services roadmap and associated implementation plan on security aspects, in coordination with other Agency departments, European Commission and European Space Agency ESA Ensure the execution of the service implementation plan for the services located in the Galileo Service Centre GSC Support servicespecific security engineering activities and security requirements documentation under the responsibility of the Agency Participate in the definition and maintenance of the security requirements for the service provision Maintain the traceability from the mission security requirements and the flowdown to the relevant elements system, user segment, operations, as well as monitor and review of their implementation Support the preparation of the Service Definition documents for services to cover the security areas of the service provision and other documents related to the service exploitation baselines Support the Agencys Engineering, Operations, Project Change Control boards for the Components for what concerns the security matters Prepare reports on security aspects of the components services Support the continuous update of the security engineering processes within the Agency in line with the space engineering standards ECSS, ISO, Common Criteria, etc. and best practices. The position is located at the Galileo Service Centre in Torrejn de Ardoz Madrid, Spain and implies regular missions to the Agencys headquarters and other locations in Europe. Service Performance Engineer

Position Reference 770 We are currently looking for a Service Performance Engineer to work at our clients premises in the city of in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. The key person will provide service performance engineering support to the GSA. More specifically, the support is requested to contribute to preparation and technical service performance support, with focus on HASCAS HAS High Accuracy Service, CAS Commercial Authentication Service and aviation of the Galileo Reference Centre GRC in Noordwijk. The Engineer will be involved in the daily operations of the GRC which includes Independent Monitoring of Service ProvisionPerformance Monitoring of Galileo services based on Key Performance Indicators MultiGNSS Independent Monitoring compatibility Interoperability, Support to the activities of the International GNSS Monitoring and Assessment IGMA Task Force TF of the International Committee on GNSS ICG Interface with Cooperating entities i.e. cooperating entities from EU Member States, Norway and Switzerland. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the technical follow up of the Galileo Reference Centre GRC and Service Evolution activities, regarding the implementation of the monitoring capabilities for the different Galileo and other GNSS services, the definition of the associated reporting, and the validation of the GRC monitoring capabilities. Support the definition and followup of HASCAS monitoring at the GRC. Support the definition and followup of aviation related performance monitoring at the GRC. Support the definition and implementation of inhouse performance assessment capabilities. Support the definition and followup of Member States contributions to the GRC such as specific campaignbased service performance analyses, including service validation campaigns. Support the GRC activities in the context of specific Task Forces TFs, as for example the IGMA TF and the WG262 TF for ARAIM. Support standardization activities through the exploitation of historical GNSS performance related data stored in the GRC archive. Contribute to the design, the development, and the implementation of dedicated solutions for the monitoring of GNSS performance in Real Time. Coordinate contractors on GRC site, and follow up on contracts regarding GRC including development, operations and hosting services. Coordinateinterface internally within the GSA GSAHQ, GSC and GSMC and externally with EC, ESA, Member states, aviation stakeholders and other service providers through the IGMA activities. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Very good experience relevant to the above described tasks and responsibilities. Experience in project management andor industrial procurement activities. Knowledge of radionavigation satellite systems andor receivers. International working environment experience. Proven ability to use electronic office equipment e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet, etc.. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. The following skills would be highly desirable Handson experience of operating complex systems. Handson Experience with GNSS Data Processing tools such as Bernese GNSS Software, GAMITGLOBK, GIPSYOASIS, BKG Ntrip Client, and IGS products. ProgrammingScripting experience with Matlab, CC, Python, and Bash in UNIX environment. Knowledge of the GNSS Systems and PRS design. Knowledgeexperience in one or more of the following areas Precise orbit determination Descriptive and Inferential Statistics, including hypothesis testing Authentication and encryption techniques GNSS Timing applications Innovative techniques for Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring e.g. ARAIM. Experience of working in line with EU security regulations, international security standards e.g. ISO standard 27001, and in Security Accreditation domain, in particular if experience in securityrelated matters of the Galileo programmes.
