Data processing operations Engineering Support 1313057 Job Description The selected Engineer will support the Routine Operations phases of the Meteosat Second Generation MSG, Meteosat Transition MTP and EUMETSAT Polar System EPS Programmes. The tasks of the engineer will typically include Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the data processing systems and the quality and availability of products at different levels Investigating anomalies relating to the performance of the data processing systems and the quality and availability of the products Preparing and reviewing technical documentation relating to data processing operations Providing Standby callout support Supporting the further development of the MSG and EPS data processing systems, including the specification and validation of system updates Supporting the operations preparations for future MSG and EPS spacecraft Supporting the preparations for Meteosat Third Generation Attendance at and participation in technical meetings and formal reviews.
