TASKS Analysis of the operational requirements for the EARS services Support to the definition and integration of the data handling and product processing systems for the new EARS services Technical liaison with the international partners providing the software packages for product processing of the satellite instrument data, including identification of test data and test environment Architectural and detailed design, implementation, testing and support of the EARS related software and applications Support the delivery of software externally developed, its installation, configuration and testing Support to the coordination and definition of technical interfaces with the external partners and service providers supporting EARS Support to the definition of EARS system evolution activities. Coordination of their implementation with relevant EUMETSAT teams and external partners Preparation of design documentation and other relevant documentation Verification and validation of software and systems, including the preparation of test plans, test procedures, test data and test tools Support to the configuration management of the EARS systems Support to the maintenance and evolution of the operational EARS system, in particular in response to the availability of new versions of the operational product processing packages and other key software packages Preparation, validation and maintenance of EARS maintenance and operational procedures and technical documentation Preparation and production of routine reports as necessary Furthermore, the Key Person shall provide support to the operations of the EARS services.
