Systems Communications EGSE Engineering Define requirements for predictive Results Analysis Tool, develop and maintain the analysis software. Performs program payload Electrical Ground Support Equipment EGSE design, test analysis software and AIT implementation. Participates in product development by improving former EGSE designs or by developing new designs and AIT engineering processes. Performs payload EGSE budgeting and support design review preparation. Performs specification generation for the EGSE equipment. Participates in the recommendation of major payload capital projects EGSE and subsequent management of the capital asset acquisition process. Provides support to payload architecture evolution and performance for all RF analysis activities. Provide support to both payload architecture design and RF system performance analysis during life cycle of payload from, bids, layout and project implementation phases along with RD activities in support of payload or processes improvement. Provision of System Engineering Documentation Requirements, SOC, Verification and Validation document, Design Justification Document, Systems Budgets, Equipment Specifications, Test requirements, Software Version Description Document VDD Impact Analysis for Payload test equipment and support to RFW and RFDs. Produce and Manage ECNs as necessary. Input and Support of Program Reviews EQSR, SRR, PDR, CDR, Interim Design Reviews and Equipment EIDP. Support to Payload Test Procedures, provide support and Interface with AIT during Payload Assembly Integration and Test. Attend necessary TRR, TRB, DRB, and NCRs. Provide support to Space Craft Tests Normally at SC Supplier premises Define Test software requirements for Payload Test Set Define Requirements for Predictive Results Analysis Tool Define In Orbit Test IOT procedures and Test Fixtures Provision of support to IOT Operations General Requirements B.Sc. or equivalent experience 812 years minimum experience in Communications Satellite Payloads for EGSE design and implementation RF software and database design background Analogue Communications System design skills including simulations Knowledge of digitals systems Areas of required experience or supportive roles Expertize in test Results Analysis Tool, develop and maintain analysis software. Data Processing Systems Engineering Support Consultant

One of our clients based is Germany is looking for a Data Processing Systems Engineering Support Consultant. The candidate will provide engineering support to the MTG Ground Segment Data processing team in the frame of the MTG Programme. The Consultant will support activities related to Phases C and D of the MTG Programme in the area of data processing engineering. Tasks In detail, support will be provided for the following tasks Support the procurement of data processing elements by advising on technical solutions proposed by the contractor and by reviewing documentation to confirm its compliance with the requirements. Support management of the requirements baseline for data processing elements. Support refinement of ICD and HumanMachine Interface HMI requirements and specifications. Support testing, integration and acceptance of data processing elements, including HMIs. Participation in formal reviews and technical meetings. In addition, there will be regular involvement in the following tasks requiring interaction and coordination with other teams at System and Ground Segment level Review of System, Space Segment and Ground Segment documentation dealing with requirements, concepts, algorithms and technical analyses of relevance for data processing, including review of instrument data processing algorithms and calibration concepts defined by the Space Segment with emphasis on their implications on Ground Segment data processing concepts, interfaces and architecture in the course of which prototyping of algorithms and production of test data may be required. Participation in formal reviews and technical meetings at System and Ground Segment level. Review of documentation dealing with technical evolutions of the clients infrastructure. Qualifications A University degree or equivalent, including experience in the engineering, physics, or software or similar domains. Experience Relevant experience in preparation of requirements, design, interfaces including HMI and testing documentation for data processing systems considering the systems engineering aspects of data processing management and data provision experience on data processing for high data rates Earth Observation missions will be considered an asset. Relevant experience in monitoring and implementation of designs against requirement baselines and IVV, including running HMI workshops, testing and formal acceptance. The ability to maintain a system overview is essential. This ability must be exercised within a multidisciplinary context in cooperation with other teams, covering several different data processing levels and instruments. Ability to learn and develop the needed skills and knowledge to contribute to the development of MTG. This includes the ability to rapidly absorb, and make use of, information presented in written and oral communications in a dynamic context. Systematic approach to work, be able to plan the work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks. Ability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation. Skills Knowledge Knowledge in any of the following areas will be considered an additional asset Knowledge of the IBM DOORS tool or an equivalent for requirements management. Knowledge of task relevant ECSS and CCSDS standards. Knowledge of HMI usability inspection methods. Relevant experience with L1L2 processing software for Earth Observation missions, either for operationsmaintenance or specification and development.
