Heshe will also provide support to the functions of Agency Crypto Authority, TEMPEST Authority and Crypto Distribution Authority in support to the Agency Security Authority implemented by the Head of the Security Department. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The jobholder will be entrusted with the following tasks and responsibilities or relevant subset 1. COMSEC accounting Establish and ensure implementation of a COMSEC centralised accounting in the Agency Provide guidance to crypto custodians and COMSEC officers Contribute to operational decisions in support of the Agency account Review COMSEC Transportation Plans, approve Agencys internal transfers. 2. Operational tasks Provide support in ensuring COMSEC Controlling Authority role Operate the teams crypto systems. 3. Compliance incident control Audit Agency COMSEC accounts Register and investigate COMSEC incidents. 4. Agency Security Management Support the Agency Central Security Office in particular by coordinating activities concerning the integration of COMSEC into wider Agency security policy Manage Security projects and budgets assigned by the Agency Security Authority and report organisational management Collect and report operational quality metrics in accordance with ISO9001 processes. 5. Support to the European Union Space Programme components Conduct technical reviews and appraisals of the Space Programme Crypto chains in support of authorisation to operate decision by security authority and ensure compliance with operating constraints thereafter Establish a list of tasks, in COMSEC domain, supporting the Information Assurance Operational Authorities of the EU Space Programme components and contribute to implement them in compliance with the provided Crypto Plans. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Process Officers tasks shall in principle include Document, maintain, update procedures and policies and monitor their implementation Review existing processes, propose improvements and identify new processes to be developed Manage the implementation of processes and their improvements, including supporting officers in charge of the different process tasks Evaluate improvements with internal and external stakeholders Implement the Quality Assurance for the department towards the Agency and audits Draft andor coordinate the drafting of internal documents Support the assessment of how the department is meeting key performance indicators Perform assigned administrative tasks in support of the department, of the Security Accreditation Board and its bodies Assist the SAB Chair and the Head of Department in all aspects of the management of the Security Accreditation Board and subordinate bodies, in particular follow up corporate tasks and actions stemming from internal activities and from external recommendations and findings Contribute to the vision, content and planning of the strategy of the Security Accreditation Board Take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service. The jobholder will mainly provide the management of Galileo Security Monitoring Centre GSMC with a technical authority, independent from the operational teams providing the services, verifying that the missions of the centre are properly performed. The jobholder will ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of the quality referential ISO 90012015 at GSMC level, and the compliance of the processes run at the GSMC with the corporate policies established with the Agencys department responsible for Project Control PC and their consistency with the other operational departments processes e.g. Galileo and EGNOS Services. The jobholder will become a member of the Agencys Product Assurance and Configuration Management team within the Project Control Department located in the Headquarter in Prague. The Product Assurance and Quality Officer will be situated in the GSMC, in SaintGermainenLaye and will work under the functional coordination of the GSMC. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The jobholders main tasks and responsibilities will be in the following areas Product Assurance Ensure that the services provided and operated at the GSMC are compliant with the level of services expected by the programme and the user and provide an independent review of the deliverables produced by GSMC Organise the GSMC Lessons Learned exercises and participate into the corporate Lessons Learned exercises Followup the anomaly resolution processes by cochairing GSMC Anomaly Review Boards and attending GSMC Configuration Control Board Contribute to the GSMC reporting processes Quality Assurance Perform the flowdown of Agencys Integrated Management System IMS into quality standards applicable to the GSMC and maintain the Quality Management System QMS documentation processes, procedures and tools Ensure permanent compliance with IS0 9001 standard, ensure the continuous improvement of GSMC processes, identify root causes for nonquality, propose and implement remediations Prepare, implement and followup internal audits, and support the GSMC participation into external audits Perform inhouse training activities on quality management Ensure the day to day management of the outsourced quality support Coordination at Corporate level Both on Product and Quality Assurance, ensure full coordination and alignment of standards and good practices with the Agency at corporate level Support the Product and Quality Assurance organisation of the Agency. The position is situated at GSMCMaster site in SaintGermainenLaye, France, with regular missions and possible detachment to GSMCbackup site in San Martn de la Vega, Spain, and Prague, Czech Republic. He She will support the Agency in its role of EUGlobal Navigation Satellite Systems GNSS Exploitation Manager by implementing Product Assurance activities contributing to maintain the delivery of EUGNSS services certified for SafetyofLife applications. The jobholder will become a member of the Product Assurance Configuration Management team within the Project Control PC Department.
