As such it involves oversight of security operations and ensuring that security management procedures are properly conducted at ESTEC and it includes the following responsibilities Oversight of the security contractor that provides guarding, access and visitor management, monitoring, reporting, fire prevention and firefighting services. Ensuring the physical security of the ESTEC site, buildings, activities and events on site. Ensuring proper physical protection of the ESTEC site and adequate preparations for accidents, incidents, calamities or security infringement are in place. Executing investigations into security incidents and any lessons to be learnt. Monitoring and reporting on security practices on site. Maintaining up to date documentation in respect of security procedures and the compliance with relevant policies and standards. Analyse data and reports to form proposals for improvements. Support the ESTEC Head Health, Safety Security Section. Represent the Security and Safety Section in meetings requiring security input and coordination. Successful Candidate A Degree Bsc., Diploma or equivalent from a recognised institution or equivalent is required. Applicants for this post should have in depth previous experience in the field of security supported by formal training. Experience in security management, conducting investigations and in conducting security compliance and improvement exercises, is important. The applicant should be able to establish effective interfaces. The applicant must be willing and able to hold a Personal Security Clearance PSC while in post. Proven record of working experience in an International and multicultural context like ESTEC. Knowledgeability to quickly grasp and deal with the ESTEC ethos and culture. Ability to write and reviewcorrect technical documentation reports, procedures in the English language. The official languages of the agency are English and French. A very good knowledge of English and a good knowledge of Dutch is essential. The incumbent must have excellent communications skills and the ability to work under demanding conditions and deal with complex situations. Hisher ability to swiftly grasp, gain knowledge of and be able to work effectively with the particulars of the ESAESTEC site, the operational procedures and the organisational culture, is essential. Job Description We are looking for a Configuration and Documentation Management Officer on behalf of the European Space Agency ESA for their location in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, to join their Project Control and Management Support Office for Copernicus. The Copernicus Programme within the Earth Observation Directorate is looking to recruit an experienced Configuration and Documentation Management CADM Officer. Heshe will work across the Copernicus Programme and also be assigned to work on specific Projects. This split will change with time and project needs. The post holder will report hierarchically to the Head of the Copernicus Project Control and Management Support Office and functionally to the relevant project managers. Heshe will liaise on a daily basis with the relevant Product Assurance Managers, Project Controllers and the EOP QMS responsible. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe and not by ESA. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Act as a Configuration and Documentation management expert within Copernicus Programme to support the definition and maintenance of the project Configuration Management Processes and tools, and to promote standardisation. Support the control of the evolution of the Project Baseline Requirements and the provision of traceability of the changes. Support the setting up and coordination of Project Reviews to ensure the availability of the Data package and manage the RIDeRID System. Support the implementation and maintenance of adequate configuration control methods and procedures, consistent with applicable standardsrequirements Provide status data and maintaining a wellstructured configuration record system. Support the settingup and monitoring of operations and maintenance of the Project Data Management System DMS Document Configuration and Change Management DCCM within the Eclipse software Suite for management, storage and control of ESA Unclassified with Limited Distribution e.g. ITAREAR Docs and Classified Information Assist in the preparation of project audits. Support configuration audits and configuration inspections. Perform Data collection, extraction from different Corporate applications e.g. PRISMA, Eclipse, and from various internal sources and data consistency checking and coherence analysis. Support the project documentalists in retrieving documents from local DMS, DMSs from external partners andor industry. Train staff and contractors on Eclipse and other DMS tools. Liaise with industrial partners CADM officers and documentalists for exchanging data and resolving documentation and configuration related issues.
