The Senior AOCS Subsystem Engnieer, the AOCS Subystem Engineer is responsible for design, development, integration and verification of the AOCS subsystem of satellite projects. Tasks Attitude and Orbit Control System AOCS subsystem engineering for satellite project In charge of the definition and development of the AOCS subsystem including definition of the verification philosophy on subsystem level and specification of test requirements Coordination with system level via the avionics technical responsible of the project Responsibility for the management of subcontractors and hardware suppliers, with support of the subcontractor management organisation within the project In charge of all AOCS related project activities, ensuring technical quality as well as schedule and budget compliance on subsystem level Leading a small group of AOCS project engineers Qualification Degree in engineering, space technology, physics or a comparable qualification 5 years of professional experience in space projects as AOCS subsystem engineer, AOCS project engineer or in a similar technical position AIT project experience would be of advantage Ideally, gained experience in ESAASI or commercial geostationary satellite projects.
