Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Integrating Product Assurance PA disciplines and PA with all management and engineering activities Implementing a PA Programme throughout all project phases Ensuring that the project and PA organisation are well defined before the development and implementation of the project at each level and that applicable standards are customised appropriately Ensuring that aspects are identified which could impact the safety and success of the mission Ensuring the prevention of adverse situations through early detection, elimination or problem containment Ensuring risk assessment and control as well as the conformity of ensuring that the end product complies with specifications Ensuring the visibility of the product Quality status Autonomously managing PA tasks and coordinating PA support disciplines Monitoring subcontractor quality according to project requirements Ensuring that alerts and warning notes are checked Providing monthly quality reports and ensuring quality management adhoc information in case of NCR Managing NCR, including root cause analysis, mitigation actions, NRB management and closeout on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd level Maintaining good relationships with relevant customer QA representatives Ensuring that product liability requirements are met and that the ENS PA operation guidelines are implemented, Ensuring and supporting AIT QA implementation in the cleanroom This role will involve travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Product Assurance Engineer

One of our clients based in the UK is looking for a Product Assurance Engineer. The key candidate will provide PA engineering support to project teams and ensure that the specific project is delivered to the contractual PA Plan PA requirements. This is a 6 month contract however there is possibility of extension. Tasks Manage nonconformances at both equipment and Platform level and work with both the customers and engineers to disposition and close out. Manage customerfacing PAlead reviews PCB, MPCB and MRR. Participation in progress meetings, design reviews, etc., including customerfacing reviews. Participation often as Chairperson in Materials Review Board MRB Nonconformance Review Board NRB meetings. Regular reporting of PA related metrics to the Product Assurance Group Leader. To report PA noncompliances and concerns to the project manager and provide plans to mitigate, accordingly. Processing of NCRs, RFWs and RFDs. Production of Quantum project, Product Assurance documentation, as required. Processing of RFAs and PADs with the support of relevant technical experts. Management and tracking of EEE Parts approval, MP approval, including regular status reporting to the customer. Qualifications A degree in an area relevant to the role. Experience Experience in the space industry or similar, high reliability, engineering environment, ideally with a high level of exposure to Product Assurance, in the frame of Project delivery. Working knowledge appreciation of contractual and commercial factors. Technical background and a number of years working in an environment subject to quality assurance requirements. Experience in following areas is also desired but not essential Experience of working in the telecommunication satellite industry would be beneficial. Experience in of working to ECSS standards. Experience working knowledge of EEE Components or Materials Processes. Experience of working in a fastpaced, customerfacing environment. Experience in a project led design and development environment. A working understanding of any of the following technologies would be beneficial Analogue digital electronics. RF and or EMC. Composite structures or mechanical structural analysis. Spacecraft integration test. Propulsion systems. Knowledge and Skills Good written, interpersonal and customer presentation skills. Highly organised good project time management skills. Good people management skills, able to motivate individuals and the team. Able to work within a pressurised, dynamic, projectled environment. Able to motivate and influence individuals, and the team, in order to deliver projects against the specific customer PA requirements. Able to be proactive and work under own initiative.
