For our Business Unit Launchers in Zrich we are seeking a motivated and experienced Product Assurance Engineer fm Your role at RUAG will involve Acting as a Product Assurance Task Manager for testing, qualification and manufacturing phases for flight hardware Being main interface to the customer and subcontractors concerning product assurance, quality and safety aspects in a project Establishing project specific PA requirements and PA documentation as per contract, technical requirements, statement of work etc, including publishing as built lists and other listings for recurring projects. Reviewing and approving internal project and external supplier documentation Preparing and conducting flight hardware inspections Evaluating quality measures and taking initiative in improvements, internally and externally Representing the company, reviewing your work and cooperating with the customer in Design Reviews, Test Reviews and Acceptance meetings. Managing nonconformances and ensuring proper corrective actions and closeouts Participating launch campaigns in CSG Kourou, French Guyana several times a year as a part of the RUAG team Job requirements Minimum FH or Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or in a similar discipline Several years of professional experience in Product Assurance or Quality Management Working level fluency in English, French and German Good communication, cooperation and organisation skills Willingness to work numerous weeks per year abroad for launch campaigns Working knowledge of the standards EN9100, ECSS and MIL as well as working experience in a process controlled organisation, are advantages Familiarity of working with ERP tools and databases like SAP, is a plus. For one of our aerospace customers in Switzerland, we are currently looking for a Product Assurance Engineer. The company is specialised in the design and manufacture of high quality mechanical and eletromechanical equipment for the space industry. As a PA engineer you will mainly be working on their space flight hardware structures projects. Tasks and Responsibilities Guarantee the customers contractual requirements over all project steps design, development, design reviews, industrialisation, manufacturing, suppliers management, noncompliance monitoring etc. Coordinate Product Assurance activities for development, tests and production phases Ensure the application of Quality Assurance requirements according to the companies policies and contracts to clients and subcontractors Produce andor help to develop the rules in the space management like hazard analysis and FMECA Guarantee product compliance Act as the principal responsible for good cooperation with Operational Quality Assurance Generate reports on projects status for QA Manager on a regular basis.
