Position Reference 072 You will have the opportunity to provide a managerial support to the International Space Station and to work with the Research and utilization group responsible for the definition and implementation of the of ESAs SciSpacE research programme. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Administration of the Joint Mission Management Team JMMT Planning and organization of the meeting Compilation and distribution of the agenda Generation review of Minutes of Meeting and action item list Action item tracking and followup. Coordinating the preparation and submission of papers for EUBHESACPB Coordination of preparation and internal review process Schedule and document readiness tracking Compilation and editing of documents Support to document generation e.g. generation of flow charts, graphics etc. Proofreading Document delivery o Recurrent documents eg Utilisation Oral Report presentation, Current status and future Announcements of Opportunity presentation, Annual Report on ISS resources. o Recurrent inputs to higher level documents eg Research and utilization chapter in the quarterly report to PBHME, Inputs to the DHRE presentation to PBHME, Research and utilization chapter in the quarterly report to Council, Inputs to the DHRE presentation to HESAC. o Nonrecurrent topic specific documents to be defined adhoc. Coordinating the preparation and submission of fiches for the work plan Coordination of preparation and internal review process Schedule and document readiness tracking Support to document generation Proofreading Delivery of the fiches for the work plan per work plan revision. Administration of the weekly and additional adhoc Group Meetings Planning and organization of the meetings Compilation and distribution of the agenda Generation, review and tracking of the action items and record of decision Minutes of Meeting if required. Administration of technical meetings and reviews Planning and organization of the meeting review Compilation and distribution of the agenda Generation review of Minutes of Meeting and action item list Action item tracking and followup. Preparation of events, workshops and multilateral meetings e.g. RPWG, UOP, SOP Venue and logistics arrangement Overall coordination and organization Compilation of agenda in close coordination with the respective panel and or working group chair Generation of Minutes of Meeting and compilation of results Followup actions Logistics and travel support to the international partners as need. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You are fluent in English level C1 both written and spoken. You have a University degree Bachelor from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Business Administration. You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience. You are able to work independently. You have an openminded working attitude. You have proven record in producing high quality technical documents. You have experience with document editing software. You have experience working in international technical environment. You have expert knowledge with modern electronics office automation tools in particular Microsoft Office suite and electronic mailing. You are able to prioritize activities to achieve the deliverable required. The following skills would be highly desirable You have knowledge of another official ESA language. We are looking for an Engineering Support for Incentive Scheme E3 to join our Modis Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Modis Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Modis is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 120 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. Specific tasks to be performed Supporting the Head of Section and Senior Industrial Policy Officers in the implementation of the country specific Incentive Schemes, Plan for European Cooperating States and Associated States by Supporting the focal points of one or more New Member States NMS or European Cooperating States ECS for the preparation, initiation and implementation of the relevant actions pertinent to each Member State status and associated measures. These will include assistance in the review of proposals, preparation of TEB reports, follow up of contract status and deliverables and the preparation of presentations Supporting Associate Member States, ensuring they are informed of internal ESA processes and opportunities, coordinating with other programs, supporting training courses and arranging country specific events Supporting the Secretariat of the Task Forces of NMS and their interface with National delegations in ECS and AS. Supporting studies and surveys and maintaining databases of NMSECSAS capabilities for their relevance to ESA programmes Supporting ESA training initiatives in NMS, ECS and AS The work involves addressing several application and technology domains and implies numerous interfaces with Staff across all ESA Directorates and with entities from the NMS, ECS and AS. participating actively in the Division meetings To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required University degree MSc from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Engineering preferably space related, Familiarity and experience in the R D area and technology development processes, in particular in the space sector, is a distinctive advantage. Knowledge andor experience of the different ESA Programmes and European space industry as well as ESAs internal processes will be a strong asset. Knowledge of ProgrammeProject management and controlling methods and tools. Autonomy, authority and ability to interface with ESA staff at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communications. Rigor, commitment and reliability in the execution of the assigned tasks. Proactive attitude to solving problems, identify priority actions and to handle high workload. Familiarity with modern electronics office automation tools e.g. Microsoft Office suite. About ESAESTEC The European Space Agency ESA has sites in several European countries.
