Information Management User Support Engineer 1613068 Job Description We are looking for an Information Management User Support Engineer to provide first level support to users, prepare user manualsonline help, develop and deliver training to all EUMETSAT employees and take active part in Information Management related projects. Your tasks will include Provide first level support to users on technical and process issues for document and information management systems and processes, including handson trouble shooting and coaching Develop and enhance training for document and information management systems and processes and deliver the training to end users. This includes presentations, hands on workshops, computer based training, etc, Support end user requirement specification phases in user interaction design including the design of navigation and search, information architecture, layout and taxonomies, Support the customer acceptance and rollout phases of new or enhanced systems, including preparing user manuals and online help, and developing and delivering training to users, Contribute to project planning and reporting. In addition, you will provide support to Improvement and documentation of business processes inside ICT Document tasks and deliverables according to EUMETSAT working practices. Required Skills and Experience A university degree in a relevant discipline Extensive experience in providing first level support to end users on complex information management systems and effectively working towards solutions together with users to solve their issues Extensive experience in developing and delivering training on complex information management systems to technical and nontechnical users Experience in developing user manuals andor web based online help Experience in user interaction design and developing information architecture, search and navigation, taxonomies Experience from support, training or technical implementation of information management systems based on Oracle WebCenter Content Good knowledge of information management concepts, principles and related processes Very good personal communication skills oral and written to be able to effectively interact with users, team members and other teams Highly self motivated with a high level of autonomy in working arrangements and the ability to apply initiative and creativity in the execution of tasks Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn, able to work as part of a team and displaying a strong customeroriented approach to interact with EUMETSAT personnel. Minimum 6 years experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain. Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment. Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset. LSE Space is looking for an experienced Engineer mf in order to fulfill the task of MTG Ground Segment Integration, Verification and Validation Support Engineer at our customer EUMETSAT in DarmstadtGermany. The primary responsibilities of this role will be The consultant shall provide expert technical support in the MTG IVV activities, mainly to the MTG GS AIV Manager and within the MTG GS Team. The tasks to be performed by the consultant include 1. maintain the GS IVV plans, schedules and verification control documents 2. support the generation, maintenance, review of test specifications and procedures 3. support the identification and development, or procurement, of test tools, and generation of required test data 4. support the preparation, execution, assessment, documentation of tests, including the reporting at relevant test readiness and test review board meetings 5. perform investigations into anomalies and their documentation in anomaly reports, supporting anomaly review board meetings 6. liaise with facility, MME and system teams for the resolution of relevant issues at facility, GS or system level, and the coordination of IVV activities across levels 7. support the facilities procurement and their reviews in the area of IVV 8. perform analysis and assessments of technical issues relevant to the GS IVV activities 9. support the conduct of GS reviews 10. support the Technical Officer of the MTG IVV Support Service in the definition and coordination of the activities to be provided by the service 11. deputize the MTG GS AIV Manager if so requested in his absence. All tasks shall be performed in accordance with the EUMETSAT Quality System and any complementary procedures at Divisional or Programme level for configuration and documentation management. The tasks and the relevant timeframes will be assigned to the Consultant through the release of workpackages. Requirements Heshe shall combine a solid knowledge and expertise in the following areas specification and design of space missions ground segments, their interfaces and dataflows development lifecycles approaches and techniques for integration, verification and validation. Technical expertise will have been acquired in relevant technologies and tools, preferably from the following set Operating systems UNIXLinux Networking Internet protocols, TCPIP programming, network monitoring Automated software testing Requirements and verification management DOORS Meteorological data formats HDF5, NetCDF, JPEG2000 Programming languages CC, Java, Javascript, XML, Perl, TclTk Software development environments Eclipse Relational databases MySQL, Oracle Academic and work related requirements A University degree in engineering, physics, or software domains is required.
