Position Reference 165 You will have the opportunity to assist in the engineering activities of the data processing systems and application software for the operational and future programmes within the DPSA CA, including Processing Frameworks. Tasks and Activities Your tasks will include day to day operations and maintenance, to the handling of anomalies, upgrades and configuration changes for these facilities. Broad technical expertise in telecommunication networks design with particular emphasis on physical and link layer, and good understanding of multiple access telecommunication protocols. Good knowledge and experience in the use of communication simulation software tools e.g. Matlab, C is required. A few years of work experience in the field of complex digital communications systems, subsystems and networks is required. Familiarity with satellite TTC transmission techniques is a plus.
