See below what experience or knowledge you should bring Experience of network engineering in such environments throughout its lifecycle, from identification of needs to deployment and operations. Experience of carrying out specifying, preparing, planning and executing network engineering activities, including their coordination and technical guidance, working with other engineers within and outside the team involved in the activities, and with the customersusers and other stakeholders. Indepth knowledge of Cisco technology and solutions for these environments. Ability to present verbally and in writing network solutions and systems in a comprehensible way, with the specific ability to explain relevant details while keeping the focus on the overall system aspects. Ability to translate IT jargon into customer business terms. Experience of working in and applying the above skills in highavailability, alwayson production environments, driven by high availability requirements. Experience of interacting with suppliers of network products and service providers as part of network infrastructure, services and solutions development and deployment. Since its rescue from bankruptcy by the UK government and Bharti Airtel back in 2020, UK satellite broadband player OneWeb has been going to strength to strength. In January 2021, SoftBank and Hughes Network System announced they would invest an additional $400 million into the company, bringing the companies total investment to $1.4 billion. The position covers software evolution and development for ESOCs Mission Control Systems for currently flying Earth Observation EO spacecraft missions, such as the Aeolus, SWARM and Sentinel6 missions. The work involves both support for the existing systems based on SCOS2000 and the future evolution to new generation systems based on EGOSCC. Responsibilities The position covers the following areas of responsibility 1. Prime Technical Responsible PTR for the Aeolus MCS, covering in particular Facilitating the maintenance of the MCS until the end of the Aeolus mission, including support to the Flight Control Team. Preparation and execution of endofmission activities. Facilitating the handover of dataachieves to longterm data preservation after the end of the mission. 2. Support the project for the adoption of EGOSCC for Earth Observation missions.
