Position Reference 996 We are recruiting for a Senior level Project Manager to lead the delivery and execution of Space System Security Projects to one of RHEAs key clients, the European Space Agency. The project is directed from Frascati, Italy therefore the successful candidate would need to be based or have the ability to spend 6080 of their time in Frascati at the RHEA offices and with our clients and local delivery teams. This position gives the opportunity to work in an exciting and evolving world with stateoftheart technologies in the space and cybersecurity domains. The role will support the development and successful delivery of cybersecurity services for Space. This position is focused on ensuring the governance, project framework and schedule are adhered to, managing the priorities, multiple subcontractors, resourcing and budget to ensure risks are mitigated and the client is more than satisfied. Tasks and Activities Matching your experience, expertise and aptitude, your work will involve the following tasks Responsible for the leadership and successful delivery of the project to the client. Ensuring all document, client and contractual requirements are adhered to. Responsible for schedule, budget and resourcing. Ensuring risks are identified and mitigated where required. Responsible for the technical delivery team, identifying resourcing needs and skills gaps well in advance. Implement and maintain robust measures and processes for project governance. Builds strong relationships of trust with the client. Understanding their needs, preparing and facilitating success for the key reviews and deliverables of the system or service. Manages subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost and schedule are observed and respected. Ensures continuous improvement in all aspects of the project, from technical understanding, to document presentation to budget and schedule. Identifies opportunities to increase the revenue or profitability by expanding the services of the project or facilitating new business through further projects. Participates to internal project and business review meetings. Drives performance in the team, enabling development opportunities for team members and nurturing key talent. Reflects and acts on lessons learned, shares experiences and learns from other Project Managers in the group. Skills and Experience University level qualification preferably in an Engineering, IT, Science or Mathematics discipline. Recognised Project or Service Management qualification ITIL, Prince 2 or PMI certifications for Project Management or Risk Management would be well considered. At lest 10 years experience in delivering engineering projects ideally in the Space sector or alternatively Aerospace or Defence. Proven success of projects delivered to the European Space Agency would be preferred. Working Knowledge of ESA ECSS an advantage. Minimum 5 years experience in managing teams, working in cross border, multicultural environments. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken any other European language would be considered as an asset. Experienced in Project Budgeting and forecasting. Competencies Leadership skills successfully coordinate staff and resources whilst implementing and maintaining policy. Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally. Agile and distributed decisionmaking using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigour and risk. Solve complex and ambiguous problems using structured thinking and data driven insights. Committed to high quality results, overcoming challenges, focusing on what matters, execution. Proven negotiation skills and ability to positively manage conflicts with internal and external stakeholders. A passion for space. The following skills would be highly desirable Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity concepts, issues, technologies and risk mitigation methods applied to space, critical infrastructure, defence or large enterprise markets. Engineering opportunities to join OSM Space Vehicle System Engineer We are a young, Monacobased enterprise in the field of small satellites, with our own production facility and team. We launched our first satellite last year and have additional projects in the pipeline. We are looking for a versatile, embedded electronics engineer with solid experience in small satellites for a fulltime position starting in the next few months. Only candidates from within Europe will be considered. The job is based in the Principality of Monaco, but the candidate may choose to live in nearby France. If you fit the bill and are potentially interested, we would be delighted to hear from you. As a system engineer the candidate will join a collaborative team to develop innovative small satellite nanosatellite solutions for multiple projects. The individual will be responsible for missionproject planning, requirements management, vehicle sizing, system trade studies, interface definition, AIT and systems integration. Additionally, as is common in an earlystage environment, tasks may extend beyond the original job description. This allows everyone to gain a better understanding of all aspects of the business from engineering to sales. Employees are expected to take initiative and be responsible for their own daytoday planning and workload. Specific tasks may include Working in a small team environment closely with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems engineers to develop optimal solutions to complex problems Management requirements to ensure proper flowdown and traceability, as well as requirements verification Perform system and vehicle level trade studies to balance risk, cost, and performance Supporting assembly, integration, and test AIT activities including generation of build procedures and test plansprocedures Leading concept of operations development and mission operations procedures Participating in team discussions involving vehicle architecture and design for future projects. Assessing various project opportunities REQUIREMENTS Specific requirements include Highly motivated, selfstarting, enthusiastic, and able to perform duties autonomously Ability to solve complex problems with a high degree of innovation and effectiveness Ability to lead, coordinate and motivate project teams to ensure program success Good understanding of the Systems Engineering process Able to establish procedures Handson experience with good AIT skills in production of satellites BS or MS in engineering field with focus on Aerospace or other engineering discipline Familiarity with spacecraft andor launch vehicle systems. Small satellite or CubeSat experience desirable. PREFERRED Experience with the full development cycle of a CubeSat mission. Good connections within the CubeSat community. Versatility Good communication with team members, and ability to provide and receive constructive criticism. Professional use of written and oral English language is mandatory. Ability to travel and work at partners or customers locations infrequently. Conversational French is a plus. Amateur Radio license holder is a plus. Enjoys outreach activities.
