You will be part of a team that is responsible to deliver PDMPLM Tools to support Engineering, Configuration Management, Quality, Operation and logistic support activities across the Airbus Defence and Space business. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Ensure building and implementing of IT applications through the design, coding, testing and integration of solutions in line with customer and product requirements. Analyse requirements and specify software and systems. Ensure optimum efficiency, functionality and user experience for the specific IT solution. Secure all functional andor technical integration and deployment activities concerning the Product Life Cycle. Ensure the correct integration of the chain of related IT Products. Secure reaching EIS with minimum impact on the production environment and fulfilling the agreed business requirements in quality and time. The role will involve occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Bachelor degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent Several years of experience in relevant engineering, product life cycle and product data management environment Knowledge of the PDMPLM standard system 3DExperience is mandatory Passed experience in a SAFe organization is appreciated Comprehensive understanding of ICT architecture especially about the relationships between server, network, client, application and data base Demonstrate a strong attention to customer care with good communication skills, an attentive nature and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction Good communication and interpersonal skills Fluent in German and English written and spoken Other 2 security clearance possible

You will be part of our experienced team who design and develop, extend and maintain Mission Control Systems software tools for our space clients and you would bring to the table your expertise with development of tools such as debuggers, profilers, and tracing utilities, and skills such as problemsolving and multitasking, using a logical approach. Responsibilities Initially the activity of the candidate will be fully dedicated to MCS Engineering support, however it should not be excluded that at a later stage the tasks will encompass other areas. You will be supporting the maintenance of vital infrastructure components such as EDDS, EUD, DABYS, DARC, FARC, MATIS, NIS, SCOS2000 and SMF. Managing the transition to a community licensing model for these in parallel with uninterrupted support to the flying Space missions. ResponsibilitiesDuties The position requires training and certification in two key areas of Spacecraft Operations i.e Ground Systems and the Flight Operation. Although the core team assigned will be GEO Team, the work will be delivered on a rotational basis between these two different areas in two different teams located at the same customer premises in long term. The tasks are delivered in 24 X 7 shift pattern with possible oncall requirements, As a first step, you will certify in the area of Flight operations in the Geostationary mission operations team. The core duties will be as below but not limited to Certification as a spacecraft Controller Supervision of system performance and of automatic service provision to customers Maintenance of actual mission planning data and the mission schedule Monitoring of the health status of all satellites components Monitoring the use of the satellite payload Levell response to anomalies, based on procedures Data collection after anomalies Activation of engineering support if required User Help Desk first Response In second step, for which the timeline is not yet defined and will be based on availability of appropriate resources as well as the Service Managers discretion, you will train and certify in the area of Ground Systems in the SCC team The core duties will be as below but not limited to Coordination and facilitation of real time spacecraft operation Monitoring and control of software system for such spacecraft operations Monitoring of voice and data circuits Configuration of the event clock Preprocessing of all tracking data Maintenance of an activities and operations log Extract events in log for analysis Anomaly reporting Assistance to Oncall personnel in troubleshooting Reports concerning System Operations Backup. QualificationsExperience Strong educational background in Aerospace, Telecommunication or IT related stream Preferably, with an engineering degree but is not a must due to extensive onsite training Proficient user of computer systems Proficient in MS Office suite and preferably with some knowhow of LINUX Knowhow of any programming language, though not necessary, will be considered positively. Fluency in English. Spoken German skills will be appreciated though not required.
