A vacancy for a Geo Service Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Guildford. You will join the Thematic Hosting Services department. This role is for a Fixedterm contract of 12 Months to cover a Maternity leave. The Geo Service Project Manager is responsible for the smooth running and efficient management of all aspects of assigned service development projects from early bid stages to transition, maintenance and finally archive of the project, within the constraints of agreed time and costs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the service level agreements are being met for data management and delivery projects as well as specific data hosting services, including GeoStore online data ordering and WMSWFS services. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Manage business activity from Service transition to completion. Plan activity and secure resource to deliver in line with the service and unit objectives. Make day to day decisions regarding priorities, issues and risks associated with the assigned projects. Guidance and management of the Project through the whole project lifecycle in accordance with Airbus DS standards and procedures. To be the primary point of contact for the Customer s of the project whether external or internal, and thus to provide a professional Service Management face on behalf of Airbus DS. To ensure that the project is carried out in Accordance with internal and customer requirements, to the agreed requirements baseline, budget and timescales. To liaise with the Operations and Technical Managers, for the project to help ensure appropriate technical decisions are taken. Responsible for cost collection and the management of the costs and margin on the project, against the agreed baseline budgets, identifying and achieving profit improvement where possible. Responsible for project planning, against the agreed baseline timescales. To ensure that the Project File is kept centrally and all associated project documentation is up to date. Responsible for the identification of service risks and the appropriate management of thesedevelopment of risk reduction strategies. Service project reporting in line with the company procedures. To write or review proposals as required and to ensure that they are of the highest quality. To liaise with the sales team, productiontechnical managers and bidding team to ensure that accurate and timely proposals are created. To work closely with the Commercial Sales and Project Management team to identify new business opportunities. To attend cost, price, review and vetting meetings as required. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Proven Project Management experience preferably within a Service Delivery environment. Experience of Service Management. PRINCE2 and ITIL qualifications. Experience working with Government departments. Experience of GI data management and delivery projects. Working knowledge of WMSWFS services. Two Ohio auto dealers have agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they deceived consumers with advertisements that touted low monthly car lease payments but failed to disclose key terms of the offers. The FTC's administrative complaint alleged that Progressive Chevrolet Company and Progressive Motors Inc., of Masillon, Ohio, failed to properly disclose terms such as the total amount due at signing, whether a security deposit was required, and credit score requirements.
