Tasks and Responsibilities Technical responsibility for the satellite system integrity, including mission satellite performance, requirements engineering, design and performance engineering, satellite configuration, interface control for satellite subsystems and payloads, engineering budget control Managing the different engineering disciplines and satellite subsystems through all project phases Definition of the verification philosophy from system to component level and definition of the assembly, integration and verification plan on system level, ensuring consistency with subsystem level and payload developments Planning, coordination and control of the overall design and development process, including monitoring and control of engineering activities related to satellite subsystems and payloads as well as procurement activities Focal point for lower level system engineers satellite subsystem and payload lead engineers Leading an engineering team within the project, including management of subcontractors involved in system level activities.
