A New vacancy for a Junior Service Transition Manager has arisen within the Airbus Defence Space service management team in Newport, South Wales. We are looking to develop a candidate, who is able to demonstrate familiarity with service delivery, project management and customer relationship management practices, into a Service Transition Manager. The Junior Service Transition Manager will be reporting within the service management team, the Junior Service Transition Manager will eventually be responsible for the transition of specific Airbus services from initial contract award into the delivery phase of the ITL service model. During these quieter times the candidate will be expected to work with the Newport Service Lead to define and implement new standard and repeatable transition models depending on the service contracted. The individual will be both customer and internal business facing and basic knowledge of ITIL disciplines such as incident and problem management is required. The candidate should also be comfortable with a Project Management discipline. The candidate will be required to work independently within differing security requirements and client organisations. Create and maintain relationships to ensure services are transitioned to time and cost in line with planned milestones, thus avoiding financial and reputational impact Liaise with customers, internal functional management, partners or third party service providers Dependent upon experience and developmental planning, the candidate will become accountable and responsible for the risk free take on and run of new services including ensuring that all new projects work in line with the technology strategy and ITSM tooling and platforms Ensure that AIRBUS services commence on time and to quality and all required support staff are able to take on services with no knowledge or capability gaps Provide reports as required by the Service Delivery lead Work closely with the Service Operations team as key stakeholders Contribute to continual service improvement. Your skills The Junior Service Transition Manager must be able to demonstrate An awareness of service delivery practices, preferably ITIL within the Defence or security sectors A Project Management ability Experience in operating a network or security managed Service would be preferred Knowledge of how KPIs and SLAs are managed Awareness data security practices Able to develop and implement new processes and procedures Able to work in an autonomous way and be comfortable in customer facing situations Capable of performing a Service Deliver Management role if required, dependent on current team workload and business forecasts Must be UK Security Cleared or if lapsed can demonstrate previous clearance levels within the last 12 months. The GSOp Team Issue 1 October 2018 The person will operate in our office in Transinne and collaborate on a daily basis with the GSOp project team in the frame of the Galileo Service Operator contract. We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous cybersecurity specialist to join our growing team. In the role you will operate independently and as part of a team to ensure GSOp remote sites software, hardware, and related components are protected from cyber attacks. The job description will include developing security systems, analyzing current systems for vulnerabilities, and handling any and all cyber attacks in an efficient and effective manner. Candidates should have strong IT skills and a deep understanding of cyber hacker methodology. The GSOp CSM will also keep in touch with the Galileo Remote Sites to develop the cyber security knowledge and to ensure the correct addressing of the cyber security procedures and policies. The CSM will also be key person in the cyber awareness program which includes courses on all the remote sites. Duties The CyberSecurity Manager is expected to implement the following tasks Monitor all operations and infrastructure. This could be something you do by yourself, or you could be leading a teameither way, your daily bread and butter involves going through alerts and logs which are the computer security equivalent of video surveillance in order to keep an eye on your organizations digital security footprint. Maintain all security tools and technology. This could be a shared responsibility or completely required of the security manager and their team. Monitor internal and external policy compliance. You want to ensure that both your vendors and employees are working within the framework of a policy youve laid out and that the policy is clearly laid out for them. The security manager is the living embodiment of policyand while they arent always in charge of enforcement, they do often try to make sure things are in line internally. Monitor regulation compliance. This is particularly important if youre in a heavily regulated industry and are dealing with things like credit card, health care data, or other personally identifiable information. Work with different departments in the organization to reduce risk. From technical controls to policies and everything in between, youll likely be tasked with working across the aisle of departments in your organization to get everyone on the same page. Implement new technology. As the cybersecurity manager, your job is to make the benefits clearly visible and champion all efforts going forward. Detail out the security incident response program. Every organization should have a welldefined and documented plan of action to put into place if a security incident does occur. The cybersecurity manager should ensure that this program is tested throughout the organization and that every highlevel manager knows his or her duties during such an incident.
