Heartland Plans CRV/DRV Service Center in Ind.

The LaGrange County Economic Development Corp. announced the sale of 64.4 acres in Howe, Ind., to Heartland Recreational Vehicles, a subsidiary of Thor Industries Inc. According to a press release, Heartland RV broke ground Jan. 1 on a 52,200-square-foot state-of-the-art facility that will house a service center, warehouse and executive office for its Cruiser RV and DRV Luxury Suites subsidiaries. The project will create at least 15 new jobs.

Tasks The successful candidate will be assigned to the System and Flight Operations Unit of the Galileo Operations Procurement Service Division and will report to the Head of System and Flight Operations Section. The tasks of this position include Follow the definition and implementation of the overall Service KPIs to be applied to Galileo during the Initial Service Validation and Provision phases, and coordinate the technical definition, implementation and validation of the specific operational KPIs Support the preparation and validation the operational procedures to interface with the external service providers Manage the Operational Interfaces with the Service Centres, and the delivery of the agreed products OSM, OSP, ORSI, etc, also in the frame of the Galileo Early Services Organise resource management meetings OSMBs and coordinate with the Long Term Plan preparation, ensuring that the OSMB outcomes are properly taken into account and flown down also at Mid Term Plan Level Manage Planning Requests affecting service provision and Service related incidents analysis investigation Support the enhancing of operational planning processes and operational interfaces Active participation to the Service Anomaly Review Boards for the investigation of planned and unplanned outages affecting the service availability and reporting of the analysis results as input to the NAGU process Attendance of Anomaly Review Boards and Configuration Control Board following in particular the technical issues related to Services provision Support the achievement of Operations readiness for GALILEO Services Provision Support the organisation of the GALILEO Project Operations Service Reviews Development in collaboration with the G2G Project Experts the definition of the G2G services Essential requirements Significant experience in position for operations engineering andor service provision related activities, with some experience in management Tasks A proven experience in in a commercialindustrial environment Good communication skills Capability to work in a complex environment with complex task Good practical and analytical skills Desirable requirements Experience related to developments in the Galileo project GIOVE, IOV, FOC will be considered an asset Other Information Frequent travels within Europe are required Start date is March 2016

The Geo Service Project Manager is responsible for the smooth running and efficient management of all aspects of assigned service development projects from early bid stages to transition, maintenance and finally archive of the project, within the constraints of agreed time and costs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the service level agreements are being met for data management and delivery projects as well as specific data hosting services, including GeoStore online data ordering and WMSWFS services. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Manage business activity from Service transition to completion. To write or review proposals as required and to ensure that they are of the highest quality. To liaise with the sales team, productiontechnical managers and bidding team to ensure that accurate and timely proposals are created. To work closely with the Commercial Sales and Project Management team to identify new business opportunities. To attend cost, price, review and vetting meetings as required. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Proven Project Management experience preferably within a Service Delivery environment. Experience of Service Management. PRINCE2 and ITIL qualifications. Experience working with Government departments. Experience of GI data management and delivery projects. Working knowledge of WMSWFS services. South Africa weather service says 2015 driest year on record

Reuters: The South African Weather Service said on Thursday that 2015 was the driest calendar year since complete nationwide records began in 1904, underscoring the severity of a drought that threatens the staple maize crop and economic growth. The data showed that annual average rainfall in South Africa 2015 was 403 mm, about a third below the annual average from 1904 to 2015 of 608 mm.
