The mission As a member of the MME Systems Upgrade Projects team, you shall provide support to programmes under development. In this respect you are expected to write and review requirement specifications and change proposals, prepare procurements, participate in technical inspections and reviews, document the system architecture design and write evaluation reports, review reports, test reports and overall status reports. Maintain the baseline Requirements Specifications of Dissemination, covering the building Dissemination Participation in any necessary meetings and reviews Coordination of Dissemination activities and reporting of status and actions. Profile MANDATORY SKILLS You shall have the following experience and background University degree or equivalent in the domain of engineering or computer sciences System Engineering AIT experience for the development of major upgrades new ground segments for dissemination systems in a 247 operational environment Full development cycle of data dissemination systems, from the definition of requirements to design and testing At least 5 years working experience in the field of data dissemination systems Standard Communication protocols, data exchange protocols, data compression schemes. PROFILE In addition to having a University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, the applicant shall have minimum 3 years experience in operations or software maintenance of realtime data dissemination systems, and be familiar with DVBsatellite communications and ground segment operations. The applicant shall have significant work experience on operating system level in major Linux distributions and Windows 2000, XP, Windows7. Tasks The MultiMissions Elements are a set of facilities, tools and infrastructure that are operationally used by the existing programmes and will be upgraded to fulfil the needs of the future programmes.
