The service shall be mainly provided at the EUMETSAT headquarters in Darmstadt, as required, and occasionally at the ground station sitesRemote Mission Control Centre site. Part of the work may be performed at the Vitrociset Belgium premises. Travel within Europe may be needed for the execution of specific tests, to be specified within the relevant work packages. The bulk of ground segment and system IV work is related to the integration verification and preparation of the Ground Segment and System to support the launch of the first MetopSG satellite scheduled for late 2021. Additional activities are required to ensure the support of the 2nd satellite 18 months later. The candidates will be part of a Service Team to support the Integration Verification activities of the EPSSG Overall Ground System OGS.
