Job description This request for service is for a EGNOS Ground and Ops Security Engineering in the GNSS Ground Segment Security service. The support will be provided to the Head of the GNSS Ground Segment Security, Site accreditation and Security Operations Unit. The tasks associated to this service will include EGNOS V2 and V3 activities related to guidance and monitoring of the implementation of System Security Requirements by the EGNOS prime contractors the follow up of the implementation of these requirements within the Segment design down to element level the selection of evaluated secure element when COTS are selected or the follow up of the secure element evaluation during its development e.g. Common Criteria interaction with the Segment Prime contractors and its subcontractors for what concern security implementation site security measures, their definition and their implementation within the EGNOS Sites secure operations, the definition of the EGNOS SECOPS and the follow up of their implementation within EGNOS the definition of the security operational measures in support to the security risk treatment required to cover identified security risk the support to the Mission Security Engineering Board the support to the EGNOS Security Accreditation Panel. The engineer will work closely with the EGNOS System Security Accreditation engineer and the EGNOS System Security Design Engineer colocated in Toulouse but as well as with the GNSS Security team located at Estec. Requirements The engineer shall have the following mandatory requirements university degree or equivalent qualification together with experience in security risk analysis consolidated experience in security architecture experience in penetration testing activities experience in System and Security Engineering satellite Navigation fluency in English, both in speech and writing, with excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills. Desirable requirements Experience dealing with security components and environments Capability for travelling within Europe The ability to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously.

Ideal candidate Requirements Essentials You should be able to analyse complex situations, identify critical areas and produce accurate and concise analyses, recommendations and synthesis and be able to fulfil the assigned tasks autonomously, be able to plan your work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks and work in a rigorous way to agreed deadlines. You should be willing to work in a team of engineers and in cooperation with industry and partner agencies. You should bring a university degree, at least 3 years of experience performing project management activities preferably on large and complex development projects in the aerospace or similar domain and the following Ability to make synthesis from various written or verbal inputs with excellent English writing skills Computer skills with strong experience withability to use MS Office software e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.. The official languages of EUMETSAT are English and French. The working language for the position is English and therefore you must be fluent and able to work effectively in English, knowledge of French being an advantage.
