AST Advanced Space Technologies GmbH is a young aerospace company. It develops and produces propellant management equipment for electric propulsion systems. For a manufacturing of the Xenon propellant management system of a megaconstellation platform we are currently preparing a new production site at OserholzScharmbeck, north of Bremen. For the transfer of the small scale production to a series production of several hundred Xenon management systems per year we are looking for a spirited and highly motivated Your responsibilities overall responsibility for setting up the series production line coordination of the external supplier and service provides planning and monitoring of the process transfer validation of the production line during rampup phase As Industrialization Manager you will directly report to the CEO. We offer you the perspective to take the role of the Production Manager after succesful rampup. The Production Manager will be member of the steering board.

About The Role The Project Management Group of the Space Engineering and Technology Division currently has a growing number of ongoing and new projects which require Project Management support. This portfolio of projects covers a wide range of applications Spacecraft Instrumentation, Space Physics, Earth Observation and Calibration Sources. We now have a new opportunity for an experienced and talented Project Manager to work at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Didcot, Oxfordshire. Responsibilities will include managing projects andor significant work packages reporting to customers on all aspects your projects using written reports, Gantt charts and presentations managing multidisciplinary teams to produce project deliverables leading a team of specialists preparing proposals for future lines of work reporting project finance and schedule to senior management providing advice and training on project management matters to junior members of staff. About You You will hold an undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent. You will also hold a recognised project management qualification, such as APMP IPMA Level DPractitioner Qualification IPMA Level C, or CAPMPMP PMI. You will have substantial project management experience including proven ability to manage projects within strict financial and schedule constraints. You will have experience of proposal writing and making recommendations to collaborators and subject matter experts as well as experience of managing subcontractors or other external project partners and managing multidisciplinary teams. You will demonstrate excellent organisational and leadership skills and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence others. You will be able to work under pressure, set priorities and make decisions independently when required.
