As staff of the Ground Segment Systems Division, the objective is to ensure successful delivery of services to clients, including European Space institutions. Initially, the candidate will manage an established team in charge of the maintenance of the ground segment of one of the European Earth Observation satellites. ResponsibilitiesDuties The Service manager Is the managerial and technical interface to the customers technical representatives TR and monitor the service performance for each assigned work package WP Is responsible for the provision of the services assigned to the service team as specified in the work package descriptions WPDs and the service level requirements, planning and organising the service Manages the maintenance and support team, assigns tasks to the service team members Manages the subcontractors contributions to the service Prepares and delivers the monthly service report to the customer and company internal financial reports Agrees with TR on planning, execution and delivery aspects of the services with respect to schedule, activity priority or change of priority, technical content or other specific aspects of the tasks assigned Coordinates with the TR and plans oncall support and service delivery in critical phases Identifies opportunities to extendadd to the services delivered Prepares responses to change requests from the TR for existing or new WPs including subcontractor contributions Ensures through appropriate monitoring that the service team execute the services in compliance withadhering to customer operational practices, standards, requirements and service KPIs QualificationsExperience Degree in a technical domain e.g. informatics, software engineering, computer science.
