Our client is a new joint venture between two large European space companies. Using their long heritage in the space industry, they are developing the nextgeneration European launchers and manned space vehicles. They have several offices in Germany and France, those in Germany are located in Bremen and Munich. Currently they are heavily involved in the development of Europes most advanced launcher and looking for a Procurement Quality Manager for both the Ariane 5 and Ariane 6 programmes. Tasks and Responsibilities Proposing adequate methods to communicate to the suppliers and control the quality of their work Negotiation of management requirements to the supplier and monitor the way they implement them in their management documentation and in their product development project Performing of assessment audits of the suppliers as necessary and monitoring the implementation of principles Negotiation, validation and checking of the application of the quality plan with the subcontractors Ensuring quality requirements are taken into account by the subcontractor and passed down to all sub tier contractors in line with upper level requirements Monitoring surveillance acceptance of activities and deliverables Ensuring problems encountered during the development are properly solve to secure the production phase Defining Quality Surveillance Plans and leading Supplier Quality Improvement Plan when necessary and propose optimizations when possible. Requirements A degree in Mechanical engineering or Aerospace Engineering At least 3 years of work experience in a Quality Engineering role in the aerospace industry At least 2 years of experience in Supply ChainSupply Quality Management in the aerospace industry Strong knowledge of SAPR3 The ability to meet objectives on schedule and to achieve and coordinate workflows efficiently Strong communication skills to work with different counterparts at all corporate levels Assertive and persuasive personality Fluency in English and German, both verbal and in writing Willingness to travel. A vacancy for a PLM System Engineering Project Manager mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. You will join the Information Management Team and particularly the Configuration Management Quality Solutions Definition Development department. IM is the Information Technology IT business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space. As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as management careers. IM covers a wide range of stateoftheart technologies and positions ranging from IT infrastructure, application support to governance or strategic consultancy. Within the PLM Solution, Airbus Defence Space has chosen Windchill for supporting its PDM. The PTC Windchill Solution is deployed on several sites and interfaced with different tools MCAD, ECAD, MPR, MES. Nevertheless, if the main tools are actually connected within the PLM Solution, a lot of remaining activities are to be provided in the System Engineering area requirements management, modelling, simulation. Extended Enterprise is also a large field of improvements and a key topic within PLM, which aim is to provide modern and secured solutions to collaborate with our subsidiaries, subcontractors and customers. You will be in charge of providing your technical expertise in the System Engineering and in the PLM as Project Manager in the scope of our PLM solution. You will be responsible of managing technical projects technical aspects, planning and budget as well as activitiespackages. You will be also in charge of rapid POC Proof of Concept implementation in order to validate accuracy of new technologies. These activities are often cross countries oriented actors in GE, FR, UK and SP. This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities. In this context, you will be responsible for the following activities contributing to the IM roadmap definition, managing technical project in charge applying GPP methodology Airbus Defence Space IM project management methodology, understanding and managing the user requirement definition to enable our PLM solution extension and being the privileged interlocutor of the business on the domain, managing activitiespackagesPOC in term of costplanningquality, managing the technical activities of external subcontractor in charge of the development of the PLM solution extensions and being able to challenge their proposal, managing the technical activities of infrastructure team server, network, database, PC in charge to provide mandatory infra, staying aware of new technologies Technology Watch in order to be able to provide the best of the art solutions, working closely with IM representative in charge of the different components of the Airbus Defence Space PLM Solution. This role will involve some travel for business 2 to 3 times a year in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Engineering degree or Masters degree, in Information Technology, 5 years of experience in the PLM domain, Experience in project management, Good knowledge in major System Engineering processes such as requirement management, architecture modelling, functional simulation, IVV and interoperability between disciplines mechanical, electrical, thermal... Knowledge on collaboration solutions based on SharePoint, Atlassian tools suite...
