For Astrium Satellites onsite at Astrium Space Transportation in Lampoldshausen within the area Supply Management we are looking for a Resident Supply Relationship Manager fm. Main tasks Monitoring and control of the suppliers Supporting the Supply Relationship Domain Manager in future contract negotiations Analysis of and reporting on competitors Analysis of and reporting on RD activities of the supplier Onsite focal point for Astrium subsidiaries, especially regarding calls for tender and offers In this role you will act as focal point towards Astrium Space Transportation in Lampoldshausen and deal with the following taks Consolidate all aspects of the suppliers Statement of Work and monitor its execution Manage all aspects of the subcontract execution, particularly the OnQuality, OnTime and OnCost delivery of equipment and related documentation services Daytoday management of the supplier from subcontract kickoff to delivery of all deliverables chair progress meetings design reviews production reviews including quality gates by delegation from SQDM, lead deviation waiver process, lead nonconformance process, lead change process, etc. As such coordinate the interfaces of all the stakeholders involved in the supplier management technical, quality EEE parts material processes, commercial contract Acquire an indepth knowledge of the equipment supplier leading to an effective control of the supplier Identify the supplier risks, propose mitigation actions and set short term recovery plans Ensure the local followup and support to development plans Perform the annual supplier evaluation with appropriate support Authorize the payment release, after validation of the compliance of deliveries by the stakeholders Issue an equipment and supplier reporting towards the Project Supply Manager, Project and Product Line hardware cost, TCO including nonquality cost, OnQuality and OnTime metrics, nonconformance, deviation waiver, change request change notice status, payment status, issues, risks opportunities Work with the Project Supplier Managers and the Supply Managers on site in order to ensure a consolidated approach of all Astrium interfaces to the supplier If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com. Priority will be given to internal Astrium applicants. Mechanism is a combination of mechanics, kinematics, electromechanics and electronics. The Product Assurance Engineer will face this multidisciplinary challenge. Being an integral member of the project team the PA engineer will keep his full independency also reflected by being organised into an independent QA organisation. The mechanism PA engineer shall accompany the entire development and production cycle of a mechanism typically 1.5 years. A vacancy has arisen for a Site Export Control Manager for Astrium, to be based in Stevenage. The succesful candidate will direct, manage and implement procedures and policies for all activities related to the export, reexport or retransfer of all items and technology in a manner that is compliant with all relevant national and international export control regulations and fulfils the overall company objectives related to quality, cost and delivery for the Astrium site or business area. The key responsibilities of the role are as follows To direct and manage the activities of the Astrium site or business area with regards to all aspects of export control and compliance, travelling to other sites as appropriate to do so. To be the focal point of contact at the relevant site or business area for operational and functional departments and BUs. To provide an endtoend business process support on export related issues from first contactRFQ through product support in the customer chain, and from procurement through final integration in the product chain to enable export control compliant deliveries. To manage the workload in accordance with company processes and procedures and to ensure compliance with all applicable export regulations and to report any areas of concern to the NECO UK in a timely manner. To check the correctness of the goods classification Questionnaire from procurement directive and provide the necessary support in order to obtain national and international export incl. retransferreexport licences and agreements as required. To assist where required in the definition and the implementation of procedures and policies in all related activities, as required by the NECO UK. To provide expert advice, awareness and training to Procurement, Contracts, Sales and Project departments on matters relating to UK US Export regulations, Astrium Export Control policy procedures and best practice. To review and sign off DRNs where exports are concerned and provide relevant dataservice to logistics dept to cover customs requirements regarding export. To liaise with Security and HR depts. on matters of nationality regarding access to technical data and hardware for potential recruits and visitors to the site. To prepare and be present for all audits concerning export control, both internally and externally, particularly with government agencies. To ensure compliance with the internal procedures covering the following UK BIS Licences Open, Individual, Trade Temporary licenses submitting and managing applications and amendments as necessary via SPIRE. EU Open licences US Department of Defense ITAR US Department of Commerce EAR To report on a monthly basis figures regarding movement of goods and technology along with applicable licensing activity and reviews undertaken To safeguard cross sitecountry transfers and approve only those as authorised by export licence To record and maintain all export data within the relevant system. To record, monitor action and report progress to immediate manager, advising concerns, attitudes, situations, etc, which may affect the smooth running of the business. Identify bottlenecks and suggest solutions. To plan and conduct such audits as required verifying the effective implementation of the export control process and export compliance directive. To communicate with immediate manager so that the future workload may be monitored and analysed in terms of capacity, taking the appropriate action. To carry out any reasonable task assigned by immediate manager and to work in any other area on a temporary basis as reasonably assigned by immediate manager.
