A trough of low pressure is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms along and off the coast of southern Mexico. A trough of low pressure located a couple hundred miles off the coast of southern Mexico is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. A broad area of low pressure is expected to develop over the west-central Caribbean Sea in a day or two and move slowly westward toward Central America through early next week.
