608 ABNT20 KNHC 070531 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 AM EDT Tue Aug 7 2018 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: Satellite data indicate that thunderstorm activity during the past several hours has increased and become better organized in association with a well-defined, non-tropical low pressure system centered about 950 miles west-southwest of the Azores. Environmental conditions are expected to be somewhat conducive for the system to acquire subtropical or tropical characteristics later today. By Wednesday, however, the low will encounter increasingly cooler waters, which will hinder development while the system moves toward the north-northeast over the open North Atlantic. 566 ABPZ20 KNHC 070524 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Mon Aug 6 2018 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Ileana, located less than a hundred miles west of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico, on Hurricane John, located a few hundred miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, and on newly formed Tropical Depression Thirteen-E, located several hundred miles west-southwest of Baja California Sur. Environmental conditions could favor some development during the next day or so, but after that time, the low will encounter increasing cooler waters and development is not anticipated. The low is already moving toward the north-northeast, and this motion should continue for the next several days over the open North Atlantic. 291 ABPZ20 KNHC 062306 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Mon Aug 6 2018 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Ileana, located a little more than a hundred miles south-southeast of Manzanillo, Mexico, and on Hurricane John, located a few hundred miles south-southeast of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Shower activity associated with an elongated area of low pressure located about 1000 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula continues to show some signs of organization.
