Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in Europe. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 100 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. General tasks to be performed Performing electrical tests on Platform and satellite level interface testing, performance testing AOCS, Power, TT R, Onboard Data Handling OBDH and support of payload tests Documentation of testing, preparation of test reports Test preparation Hardware configuration of the test object Test procedure creation To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or equivalent qualification Thorough knowledge of at least one of the areas position control, power subsystem, TT R or OBDH Familiarity with EGSE and measuring equipment for satellite tests Several years of experience in testing on satellite or subsystem level High team spirit, sense of responsibility and work effectively Fluency in spoken and written English About OHB System AG OHB System AG is one of the three leading space companies in Europe. Anatel plans to allocate more frequencies for satellites

(Telecompaper) Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has opened public consultation regarding its proposal to allocate more frequencies to increase the capacity of geostationary satellites. The intention is to allocate 500 MHz + 500 MHz in the 18.1 GHz - 18.6 GHz band for the downlink and 27.9 GHz - 28.4 GHz for uplink exclusively for satellite services.

Sky Cable to launch DTH TV in the Philippines on SES satellites

SES (Paris; Luxembourg: SESG) has announced an agreement with Sky Cable, the largest cable television provider in the Philippines. Sky Cable will be broadcasting DTH satellite TV channels via SES satellites SES-9 and NSS-11.
