Cotton yarn prices have continued sharply falling in the last seven days on China's import market, as a result of the currency depreciation experienced in the past weeks in India and Vietnam. Domestic yarn prices are depressed by a low level of demand whereas the fall of polyester fiber prices will further pressure spun polyester and polyester-cotton prices. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing and Shaoxing (Zhejiang).
