China Yarn Prices: Domestic and Import Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton yarn import prices have sharply fallen in the last seven days in China, in line with a significant decline of the Indian rupee in the past weeks and a fall of cotton prices on the international market. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing and Shaoxing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Import prices are also available for yarns from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Domestic and import yarn prices are compared. All data are available for download.

Polyester Fiber Prices in China, India and Pakistan (Weekly Report)

PSF prices could now decline in China where material costs of fiber producers have heavily dropped in the last two days. Polyester filament prices have already begun declining, although very slightly. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.

Cotton yarn prices have rebounded on the domestic market in Pakistan, due to a sharp recovery of cotton fiber prices, our correspondent reports. Export prices have not changed however in dollar terms, following a new depreciation of the local currency.
