Senior Manager, Cyber Security Operations Luxembourg Betzdorf ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Cyber Security Operations function has SESwide responsibility for cybersecurity monitoring, cybersecurity incident response and vulnerability and configuration compliance management. The job holder is responsible for leading, developing and maturing SES Cyber Security Operations function and is responsible for the delivery of its services to internal and external customers. The incumbent defines the cybersecurity operations strategy to continuously extend the service portfolio, improve service levels, mature delivery processes and the overall efficiency and capabilities of the function. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULTS AREAS Supervise, coordinate and develop the cybersecurity operations function and supporting technical infrastructure for all SES entities to ensure efficient and effective cybersecurity monitoring, incident response and vulnerability as well as configuration compliance management Plan, develop, manage and continually improve processes and procedures required for the cybersecurity operations function Ensure SES security incident response readiness by establishing and continuously improving SES security incident response framework and training the incident response team Manage security incidents in accordance with the incident response policy and process and direct incident response teams to ensure a coordinated, timely and effective response to security incidents Establish a threat intelligence program and produces actionable, relevant strategic and tactical threat intelligence from different relevant sources in order to Leverage threat intelligence information in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cyber security operations Disseminate synthesized intelligence information to SES stakeholders, including senior management and relevant engineering and operations groups Inform the information security management and information security engineering functions to ensure that information security management framework and security infrastructure are aligned with relevant threats Perform strategic and tactical planning for SES cyber security operations functions Define and maintain relevant KPIs for the security operations function and its services to facilitate management reporting and continuous improvement Identify needs, estimate costs, and justify request priorities for budgetary purposes Evaluate new and emerging technologies for introduction andor integration into the cybersecurity operation functions Manage a team of security engineers andor analysts responsible for cybersecurity incident response, cybersecurity monitoring, cybersecurity vulnerability assessment and configuration compliance Manage the team to strengthen, enable and grow talent through coaching, continuous feedback and technical mentoring Identify, cultivate and grow technical leaders Prepare a portfolio for providing cybersecurity operations services for the SES customers, if required Travel and oncall malware analysis, vulnerability management and threat intelligence Strong knowledge of and experience in running cyber security operations teams Excellent understanding of the latest tactics, tools and techniques used by modern threat actors as well as effective prevention and detection strategies Indepth cloud security knowledge O365, Azure, system security knowledge multiple operating systems, including Windows platforms, and Linux and application security knowledge, including a clear understanding of their vulnerabilities, exploits and how to secure them Knowledge of and experience with security technologies, such as EDR, Antivirus, Network and Host Intrusion Detection Systems, Web ProxyContent Filtering, Authentication technologies, Security Information and Event Management systems
