TASKS General support to ground segment detailed definition, production and qualification phases Management of the requirements baseline, including for changes, deviations and waivers and evaluation of impact on element baselines Ensuring availability of long lead items, particularly those needed for verification such as ensuring availability of procuring test data and tools Completion of the detailed design of the ground segment system, including analyses architectural tradeoffs, system technical budgets, RAMS, FMECA, risk analyses to ensure completeness and coherence of the design for all aspects related to system engineering. Profile MANDATORY SKILLS The Ground Segment System Network Engineer shall have the following experience and background University degree or equivalent in the domain of engineering or science At least 5 years of experience in the field of engineering of spacerelated ground systems, including good experience in any two of i Networking Communications, ii Ground Stations, iii Near RealTime Data Processing, iv Monitoring and control of satellites, v Monitoring and control of ground systems and an overview of the other three items Experience in systemlevel analyses from an endtoend perspective, understanding relevant details while keeping the focus on the overall system aspects and presenting the results in a comprehensible way Experience in preparation of system requirements and design documentation Experience in the integration and verification of such systems.
